So who wins the rematch
I can see lesnar bull rushing mir to the canvas, and doing alot of slaps trying to finish the fight. They only work if you have really knocked a guy down in the standup, ala couture. Those rabbit punches wont stop someone who is fresh. So i think after a few rounds of ground n slap, lesnar will try and stand with mir and get outboxed for a while, before resuming the ground mauling. Mir needs to avoid leg kicks at all times, as this will guarantee he gets taken down. Hopefully he can pull of another submission. I think lesnar by decision in a real dull fight. Hopefully after this they will match lesnar vs shane carwin, so lesnar will get KO'd by a guy as big, as strong, as good a wrestler, and a better striker |

They need to match Lesnar with Lashley. That will do Oscar type numbers in PPV.

I think Lesnar avoids the submissions and follows through with the beating this time....

I'm going for Mir here but Lesnar will probably take it through sheer force. That guy didn't deserve a title shot so I hope Mir puts him back at the bottom of the ladder. The problem is, Lesnar is a freakishly strong dude who compensates lack of technique with brute force.

I'm picking Mir again. Lesnar has most of the advantages. Freakishly strong, huge, wrestling ability, amazing speed and quickness for his size. Where he's clearly still lacking is not only in experience, but in useful experience. The only guy he's been in there with that really means much against Mir.... is Mir. Couture was woefully undersized and outgunned but still held his own into the second round. Heath Herring was a good win but after the right hand that induced the somersault, there wasn't much to see. What else? A win outside the UFC, and the submission loss to Mir.
That's going to haunt him. I think he's going to look great for a while, but the inexperience is going to shine through, he'll make a mistake, and Mir's going to make him tap again. Mir by submission. On a sidenote, Lashley just isn't ready for Lesnar or Mir yet. He's getting there, but not yet. When that time comes, you're right, Stevenski, it'll do amazing numbers on PPV. |

I'm amazed that Mir is a 2-1 dog against the guy he already beat. The best indicator of the future is the past. Mir by submission again.
