Denver picks up Tebow. Tebow won't fit many systems in the NFL, but damn if he won't fit Denver's. I like this pick by Denver a lot. I think they'll maximize this pick and make some people second-guess themselves after it is all said and done.

I am plenty happy with the first.
Wilison was actually a guy Cleveland was considering at 7 over Joe Haden, and he slipped to 29. Jets have a lockdown corner playing the nickel now. |

I am playing...though I think I have 4 years running now on starting the NFL thread. July 8th is when it starts...
I got the itch BIG TIME. Give me preseason football over NBA playoffs...yeah, I said it. Lets start some discussion now...breakout players. 2 from the NFC...2 from the AFC...who you got? |

Hmmm Breakout players???
NFC 1) Dez Bryant --- ( pure talent, and with the emergance of Miles Austin, and lack of production from roy williams, I expect big things from this rookie.) 2) Jimmy Clausen -- ( although I dont expect Clausen to start the season, he will be there after about 4 games. With Steve Smith, a good running game, and another big name reciever I believe they will look at ["Owens"] Clausen has the oppertunity to have an impact similar to the one Matt Ryan had in Atlanta a couple of years ago.) AFC 1) Ricky Williams ----( I know he isnt a rookie like i picked in the NFC, but with the Broken foot leg of Ronnie Brown last season and his history of injuries, and Williams showing he had plenty left in the tank last season. I look for a big year from williams and expect him to be the dolphins featured back this season.) 2) Jason Campbell--( call me crazy, again not picking a rookie, but he was a durable qb in washington. With a new enviroment, and a pretty good defense this season, I expect the raiders to make a run at the playoffs on his shoulders. And the recievers will be pleased that the ball lands somewhere in their zip code when thrown. Russel has a big arm, but his accuracy is just awful. Under Campbell expect Maybe 8-8 or 9-7) This post has been edited by Run and Gun Game Calls: Jun 24 2010, 05:45 PM |

Bryant I can see...though it is expected. Claussen lacks Ryan's talent...so I am not sure he sees the field this year. Williams broke out...disappeared and broke out again, so that's cheating a little. Good look on Campbell, he will use Zach Miller a lot.
