PBF is a far more "natural" 147lber which anyone can see. This is a fight that should have been made at 140. It is a win win for JMM. the only way he can lose is if he gets blown out in a round. If it goes the distance he is a winner & if he actually beats Floyd then he rises many spots on the ATG lists for overcoming enormous odds.
I don't actually think Floyd is a more skilled fighter than JMM but he is bigger, faster & more in his "prime" than JMM even if you count the layoff. |

We all know PBF has great skills.Your an absolute idiot to say he never makes a mistake. What exactly would you call the first 4 rounds of the Judah fight?... and the knockdown that was incorrectly ruled upon? To say he has never made a mistake is akin to saying he has never lost a round in a fight. If he never makes any mistakes how would he ever lose a round dumbass. |

I never once said that Floyd wasn't the bigger, stronger man. The size & strength advantage is definitely on Floyd's side but certainly not significantly enough to shit on this fight. i agree dmarv you cant shit on the fight... marquez brings a lot of experience into the ring... i think there are two questions here... number 1 is how much ring rust does lil floyd have?.. and 2 is how does marquez deal with the speed of money may... if lil floyd is fighting rust this all of a sudden becomes very interesting... i was at the fight watching the pressure of diaz give him all kinds of hell and witnessed first hand what his punches do to fighters over the long haul... i say that to say this i still dont give him much of a chance unless may is just shot or comes in with so much ring rust its not funny but marquez earned his shot to test himself against a fighter like lil floyd... i will also say this no matter the outcome fighters like pac and jmm are proving by making these fights they have been that in boxing a couple of weight classes really dont make that big of a diffrence... there a lot of fights, interesting fights that can be made and boxing can once again become the glamour sport it should be... the only reason mma is eclipsing boxing is because they are making the big fights... pure and simple... |

Marquez would have a chance of timing mayweather if it was a battle, where floyd fights aggressively and engages often
What WILL happen is floyd will use his speed to fight in bursts, engaging sparingly, and doing alot of circling keeping marquez at distance. This will be a boring fight. It will deflate all the hype that has been building up for months in a 12 round disappointment Enjoy |

GBF has great skills but to say they are the best in boxing today is giving him too much credit. Since becoming a welter he has narrowly escaped losing to an O-DLH...and beat up on the no defense havin Ricky Hatton for his biggest fights while dodging the best in his division. I hope it blows up in Gayweathers face and Marquez pulls off the upset. Which I do think is unlikely to happen. Gayweather wins by decision and since he is too pussy to fight Mosley I think he'll fight the winner of Cotto-Pacman and call it a career. |

Yeah they are nothing alike.
While Floyd has been off for 2 years... Marquez has took Pacquiao to the max and cleaned out the lightweight division and now chose to move up. It is what it is though. No point in debating with you anymore. The fight is on and I'll be watching it... Besides, talks of Pavlik-Williams have started back up. Im tired of talking about prima donnas. It's time to turn my attention to someone who wants to be great. No bitch ass catchweights, no fucked up stipulations, no huge ass egos, just lace em up and step in the ring. |
