There hasnt been much talking going on so i figured I'd ask you guys Who you thought was the greatest contender in each weight division to NEVER win a championship belt?... I'm curious to see what names pop up... Maybe some we have forgotten about that will make some of us go "oh yeah i forgot about him..."... lol... I will make my list later... I hope we can have some fun with this topic...

No. They were fighting to determine who the champion would be. Sakuraba was considered the best P4P fighter in the world at that time, but he never held the belt. Or any belt of any kind, except the "Saku" belt that you mentioned. (Which he gave to Wanderlei after their first fight.) |
