Damn dudes like Pavlik around here? After the Calslappy style pulling out of fights i hope he gets brutally ko'd. I don't think Martinez is the man to ko him but he will win a UD .......Pavlik FEARS movement.

Not by some schmuck like Pavlik. We will see. Damn dudes like Pavlik around here? After the Calslappy style pulling out of fights i hope he gets brutally ko'd. I don't think Martinez is the man to ko him but he will win a UD .......Pavlik FEARS movement. The fact that I believe that Pavlik will KO Martinez does not mean I like him. I think Martinez is a superior boxer. I would not mind being proven wrong. I just think that Pavlik will corner and KO him. When he does, it won't garner Pavlik any greater respect. You will all still classify him as a bum. He will never be a great boxer but he is dangerous. |

Pavlik is a guy who's gone from being vastly overrated to vastly underrated by folks very quickly.
The dude is a well-schooled boxer with monster power in both hands. That's not nothing. Folks act like getting schooled by Hopkins means anyone can do it. Hopkins is still Hopkins. |

Pavlik is a guy who's gone from being vastly overrated to vastly underrated by folks very quickly. And Sergio went from being vastly underrated to vastly overrated very quickly. It seems unfair that people devalue Pavliks wins against Taylor and Miranda but overvalue Sergios win over Cintron and loss to PWill. 3 name fighters stick out on Sergio's resume... Margarito, Cintron, and PWill. He's 1-1-1 in those fights. This post has been edited by Keith: Feb 12 2010, 05:12 PM |

I'm one a those who thinks Pavlik gets a worse rap than he deserves as well...he got Owned by a solid ATG in Hopkins in what I felt was a combination of him being at his worst (physically AND mentally), and Hopkins being at his best... |

The Cintron fight was clealy won by Martinez who happen to be robbed, not once, but twice! I don't think anyone here is underrating Pavlik. He is what he is. Many people have him picked to beat Martinez. It's a toss up in my opinion. It all depends on how much Martinez lost from his war with PWill. |
