I thought Dirrell was winning the 11th until Abe hit him illegally.

He looked ok and not tired like most say he was.

Go back and watch Dirrell in the corner between 10 + 11.

Well i caught a replay, due to Dirrels performance vs Froch i had absolutely no urge to watch this fight.

All i can say is wow, Dirrell found his dick, stood up to Abraham and used his god given talent masterfully w/o holding and grabbing and flopping all over the ring like a scared little bitch. Is this for real or is this an evil twin we never knew about? It was like watching a completely differennt fighter.

About the DQ, i have to admit, if i was the ref i would have made the exact same decision in DQ'ing Abraham, even if i had doubts in the moment that Dirrell was faking that it's plain and simply a risk i myself wouldn't have been willing to take. That being said however i am very suspicious that dirrell was indeed acting, first and most sadly due to his behaviour in past fights. In the moment, after Abraham hit him he looked right into Abrahams eyes with this "C'mon maaaan!" look on his face, to a delayed squinting, then went limp as if he was out cold finally starting to convulse. Then, after being up, 10 different people telling him 10 times each he won the fight and him kept saying "man i lost i got KO'd!". Topping it all off with the brief interview of his first response saying he lost, then a moment later saying he was hit while he was down almost like he wanted to complain. It truelly did have a feeling of a Hollywood movie with a bad ending. If that's the case or not, only Dirrell knows for sure. And in Final, the only person really to blame for any of this is Abraham, hitting someone while they're down like that is plain stupid and dangerous.

I'll actually be excited to see Dirrell fight again and will no longer boycott his fights, if the same Dirrell shows up to fight Ward i'll actually give Dirrell a chance at winning, whereas before i thought he had no chance based off past performances.

great post happy... only thing is ive gone back and watched the knockout over and over and i just feel he was out... the twitching didnt have to be convulsive it could have been nerves... regardless like you said no one really knows but dirrell... he put on a show for most all of the fight and really displayed his skill level saturday night... i think they will meet again down the line so if anything it sets up a very good rematch for later, after the tournament...

Watching the fight it didn't seem like Dirrell was in any danger of being stopped. He was down in round 10 but he looked pretty fresh to me in round 11 and like Dmarv said, was winning it. Did Dirrell act? He was hit with a pretty big shot. At the end of the day, Dirrell dominated Abraham and weather Dirrell acted or not Abrahm INTENTIONALLY hit him while he was down. I'm not even a fan of Dirrell.

I think Abraham was coming on strong but Direll seemed to have enough in the tank to last 12. I'll have to watch the fight again.

Just watched it again... Abraham was gassed after the 10th. Dirrell was EASILY winning the 11th. Im not sure what gave people the impression that Abe was going to knock him out?

My 2 cents: Dirrell looked out of it to me. DQ was warranted.

Abraham appeared to be more gassed after the 10th.
