Nuthugger suggest I'm biased which I'm not, I'm just a really big Jones fan which is a difference. As for Hopkins I don't hate him..I admire watching him inside the ring & what he has done in his consistent career. But when it comes to being a fan or 'enjoying' his fights he also lacks some appeal as many have agreed. He has also said & done some pretty stupid things which don't help his case. It's when Hopkins name gets thrown next to Jones's in comparison on who is greater, better career, head-to-head battle where I may come across as a hater as I truly disagree with some of the arguments & statements made. Truth is one of Hopkins greatest victories was against Trinidad & deserves his props for getting it. Jones on the other hand also got a victory over Tito..but it really don't mean shit though as Trinidad was way past his best. Now that Hopkins got a "win/revenge?" over Jones it also don't mean shit as Jones, like Trinidad in his fight is also past his best which is more of an understatement for Jones as he truly is shell of his former self & is almost vulnerable inside the ropes. So for people to suggest Hopkins did something even close to resembling good or acceptable last week is way off as it was not a performance or victory you should be using for bragging rights, not to mention all the fouls & behavior which was poor. I was extremely disappointed to see Jones toy with Tito for 12 rounds when he could have taken him out whenever he liked...at least Roy put on a show that night at looked much better in the ring.
