Berto has the handspeed of a boxer but the mentality of a slugger. The Meldrick Taylor comparisons aren't that far off.

Berto is unimpressive.
He has little defense. He gets hit with the jab easily. He looks very undisciplined with the holding. He gets a bit tired and holds his hands low. He fights in spurts and that will cost him when he faces someone who fights and concentrates for 3 minutes of every round. |
