QUOTE “I’m not gonna reduce myself to what they’re doing – I have to answer to something higher and greater than that,” he said. “I was raised right. I did some wrong things, but I was raised right. And at the highest point of attention is the time you have to show you were raised right. I stand in front of that camera now and I represent all those young boys in the street that I mentor to and I talk to. I represent my children, who I told to do the right thing and to carry themselves the right way. I represent my gym, James Shuler’s Gym, I represent the Concrete Jungle, and I represent a lot more than just the trainer on 24/7. It ain’t just about me. I’d like to fire back, and the thing is, the Mayweathers give you so much to fire back at. It’s like they alley-oop the ball and you can’t help but slam dunk it. But you’ve got to restrain yourself. If he alley-oops the ball and I slam dunk it, it’s like I’m on his team." -- Naazim Richardson Gotta love that motherfucker. |

Naazim puts to shame the childish antics of the Mayweathers and the diva wannabe celebrity arrogance of Roach and Pac.
If only there were more like him |

You're my man slim, but the Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor. It was Japan. And they didn't use bombs. They kamikaze'd our ass. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yeah I knew that man I was just referencing "Animal House". Belushi says something like, 'Nothing is over until we decide it is. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? No!" Just messing around, LOL. |

Most people who know even just the slightest about boxing understand that Hector Camacho Sr. altered his style of fighting and was essentially "ruined" by Edwin Rosario. The same thing occurred to Mosley after his fight with Vernon Forrest and that's what I'm explaining. Camacho would go on to win many, many fights after the Rosario bout but he was never able to regain that same style of a boxer/puncher he used prior to that bout. Shane Mosley would go on to win plenty of fights after the Forrest bout but was never able to regain that same style of brawling/boxing that he used prior to the bout. I'm merely pointing to the fact that it's clear as day that Mosley isn't the same fighter and that it has nothing to do with age. "Mosely is going to get hit in his head and face more than he ever has in his career on May 1st.. the usual look of confusion, dispair, and lack of confidence that shane usually exhibits will be on display once again as Mayweather makes him consider quitting in the ring for the first time. That is how I see it potentially unfolding. " - neophyte Neophyte gets it... that lack of confidence is what I'm referring to. Shane never showed any lack of confidence prior to the Vernon fight nor did he resort to averaging 10-12 clinches per round to get through a fight. You're reaching with this argument Tru. For every Camacho I could give you a Toney. Each fighter is an individual. I get that you are trying to make your argument through comparison but it seems a weird one to me. I still see Shane as fundamentally the same fighter he was at the start of his ceer with a few adjustments along the way (as is to be expected.) Even your boy Mayweather is not the same fighter he was at the start of his career and he hasn't been beat yet (excepting the first Castillo fight.) |

What are you talking about kid, go watch the film and come back when you learn something. I tell you what, Wlad Klit is ruined! I could care less if he is the best heavyweight in the world, he got KTFO by Sanders and Brewster. Now he clinches way too much and he is mentally not the same, and even though he keeps winning, he is ruined. He should never clinch ever, and he would be better off just getting knocked out again. Then he would not be heavyweight champ of the world, and then I would say he is NOT ruined cause he does not have to clinch. He will just take the shots on the chin or maybe he should just learn perfect defense so it would be impossible for anyone to hit him. All these damn clinchers are ruined! |

Im not a big fan of wlad, he has no chin and is boring as hell. But if he keeps winning and protecting the chin he's not ruined he's improved, if not more boring to watch. |
