Roger's padwork with Floyd is some of the most pointless training routines I've ever seen.

MarzB would have a fit if he read this.

Its called "Catch Reflex" mitts. We do it at my boxing gym, it teaches you to catch oncoming punches and counter in a timely matter. Its a great defensive tool.

It looks like more of a workout for Roger than it is for Floyd. I see it more as "flash" than actual training. I wonder how much time he actually does it off camera.

You can't explain that to some people my man. That's exactly what it is though. It's not meant to teach power.

Again, MarzB would be going apeshit right about now. LOL

Hmm..take it back. The mitts session looked a lot more intense than when he's doing it for PR.

Great video overall, but tell me one thing, why the fvck does Floyd always opt to skip rope in his boxers? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's not a knock on Floyd necessarily, I mean love him or hate him, you gotta respect the work ethic. I just think the flashiness of the padwork overrates what it actually is, at least when he's doing it for PR.
