Overeem is a guy that has been in the fighting at an elite level for a while but has really started just beasting within the last two years at Heavyweight. I've been keeping tabs on him ever since his mauling of Cro Cop. I think Fedor is starting to decline and Overeem will beat him because he is big, skilled and most importantly experienced.

I think Fedor is starting to decline and Overeem will beat him because he is big, skilled and most importantly experienced. Of course you do. QUOTE Overeem is a guy that has been in the fighting at an elite level for a while but has really started just beasting within the last two years at Heavyweight. I've been keeping tabs on him ever since his mauling of Cro Cop. Of course you have. I love you noobs. I really do. Overeem has been stopped by KO/TKO six times in his career, submitted twice, and decisioned three times. He beats Brett Rogers in spectacular fashion and suddenly he can beat the greatest MMA fighter in history? A fighter who has never legitimately lost a fight, and finished ALL of his opponents before the 1st round (with the exception of one) since 2005 and counting, the last two coming by way of BRUTAL knockout. And now, suddenly, in your EXPERT opinion, he's starting to decline? Pray-tell, what exactly have you seen to indicate that A.) Fedor is on the decline, or B.) Alistair Overeem is even REMOTELY on Fedor's level? Discuss. And keep in mind, Overeem has been KO'd twice by the UFC's LIGHT heavyweight champion (205lbs) Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. |

Can fighters improve in your book? I mean, can they get more experience, different trainning, rededicate themselve any of that shit? It's a big trend with your logic. Fact. Fador was getting handled by Rogers until Rogers got sloppy and left his hands low and got cought. That shit would have never happened to the Fador of Pride and you know it. Fact. Fador was getting Handled by Arlovski until the idiot decided to leave his feet to do flying knee for no apperent reason and got cought. Again, no way does not happen in Pride. Fact. Some fighters improve which is the case for Alistair and some fighter decline which is the case for Fedor. Overeem is just peaking at the right time. Oh, and who said I'm an expert? You're the only one that gets off from that kind of nonsense. SMH This post has been edited by The Conscience: May 26 2010, 05:52 AM |

Can fighters improve in your book? I mean, can they get more experience, different trainning, rededicate themselve any of that shit? It's a big trend with your logic. Fighters improve. Their chins don't. QUOTE Fact. Fador was getting handled by Rogers until Rogers got sloppy and left his hands low and got cought. That shit would have never happened to the Fador of Pride and you know it. Fact. It's spelled F-E-D-O-R. Misspelling it one time is okay. Misspelling it twice means you obviously think it is spelled that way. You already made a fool out of yourself with the whole "Nick Sanchez" debacle. And now this. QUOTE Fact. Fador was getting Handled by Arlovski until the idiot decided to leave his feet to do flying knee for no apperent reason and got cought. Again, no way does not happen in Pride. Fact. It's spelled F-E-D-O-R. That's the third time you wrote that shit. Fact. Everyone is winning. Until they lose. You're the same kind of idiot I hear saying shit like "Brock was dominating for 75 seconds until he got submitted." and "Machida was winning against Shogun until he got KTFO." Fact. Fedor finished Arlovski by BRUTAL KO. Fact. Fedor finished Rogers by BRUTAL KO. QUOTE Fact. Some fighters improve which is the case for Alistair and some fighter decline which is the case for Fedor. Overeem is just cycling at the right time. Fixed it for you. We'll have this conversation again after Fedor smashes Overeem. I just hope you don't bitch out like Ryantical did after Shogun dropped Machida's faggot-ass. QUOTE Oh, and who said I'm an expert? You're the only one that gets off from that kind of nonsense. SMH No one. But I'm damn sick of guys like you hopping band-wagons. I hate it when I see guys like BigG (sorry BigG) come in after ever main event with shit like "Oh I love Diego Sanchez, he's awesome, he'll give BJ trouble." Then BJ smashes Diego, which leads to "BJ's the shit, no one can touch BJ." BJ gets creamed by GSP, then it's "Wow, no one can hang with GSP. He's awesome." And then you get guys on Rampage's nuts after he KO's Wanderlei Silva, and then they transfer to Silva's nuts after he KO's Jardine or rapes Bisping. I just want you fuckers to come in here and be objective for a change. Not everyone is a world-beater, and not everyone is gonna give one of the champs trouble, just because he had a good fight. Let's just see a fighter fight more than once before climbing onto his nutsack, shall we? And don't mention Pride anymore, okay? You never watched it. You don't know shit about it. |
