I say they'll let him fight because they'll want to keep the money in-state.

If they say no they could be adding another roadblock to future Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations. When Vegas comes begging for the fight Arum might say "You know what, I'm sticking with Dallas and if Mayweather and his camp don't want it there then no fight."

I say yes. No way is Vegas closing the door on a fight involving Pac. Not when like MMM said a Pac Mayweather fight MIGHT happen. They best make sure they are front runners come that day

Money talks. I'd be surprised if they denied this fight.

I tend to think they are going to give him the one fight exemption.

They tabled it last time, which showed that they did not want to deny him...but they also did not want to be the first to license him again. So it should be interesting.

Who appoints the commissioners in Nevada? Or are they elected?

They are appointed by the Governor.

Does the Govenor have the power to remove commissioners? If so, what political party does the current Governor of Nevada belong to?

Jim Gibbons is the Governor of Nevada...he is a Republican. The commission consists of part time people, so I am sure he could remove who he wants - but it is not worth it if they haven't done anything wrong.

I don't see this getting quite that political.
