As far as the PR war goes, Team Mayweather was like a bunch of kids trying to play around with a grown man in Arum...and he took them to school. Hence the fallout we are seeing. Add to it Team Mayweather's reaction and the damage control after Floyd said he just was not interested in boxing - and that's where we are now. The denial of any sort of negotiations combined with Greenburg, who in fact was the middle man and has had plenty of issues with Arum in the past, coming out and confirming what Arum said was a bad look for them...especially Ellerbe who jumped on the grenade. Yup. All the Floyd apologists got checkmated when Greenburg broke his silence. And now Floyd chilling w DK cuz he unhappy w how his crackerjack squad handled the "NOgotiations". |

Yall wrong everyone is playing checkers & Mayweather is playing chess. His only problem is that the guys playing checkers still managed to checkmate him.

On a side note I read that he also was denied a 50K line of credit at the Waldorf in Puerto Rico and wound up having to stay at the Super 8? lol
Could Floyd be the one of the "richest" athletes but have bad credit? LOL |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Hopefully Mayweather will feel the need to restore his reputation by fighting some dangerous guys. |

Hell, the Super 8 IS a Waldorf in PR. In keeping with the theme of the thread, I heard Mayweather's landlord asked him for his rent and Floyd demanded a blood test or he wouldn't pay. |
