Maybe I've finally gotten to the age that I can't relate...but I just learned about this shit called i-dosing that the kids are doing to get fucked up. It sounds like a drug, but all they do is put on headphones and listen to this annoying fucking sound.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It's supposed to trigger something in your brain to get you high, but you don't take any chemical to induce it. Seriously, if you haven't heard of this shit, I'm not making it up...reaction videos are posted all over Youtube. lol Has anyone else heard of this bullshit? |

Those people looked like they were screwed up on something before putting on the headphones.

It's based off of Binaural Beats which have been around since the mid 1800s. It's basically two sounds, that when played through stereo headphones makes the listener hear one tone originating from inside your head. It was used then to reduce stress, decrease anxiety, combat depression...your normal relaxation shit.
There are companies on the web now that are selling these files as the closest simulations to certain drugs that you can get. |

I have heard that people use all sorts of sounds for meditation and what-not, but I doubt they achieve the state of WTF seen in those videos you posted. |
