Sal - Sportsbook.com's boxing platform is limited (compared to the robust platform of 5Dimes, for example), but come the day before or day of the fight, they wil DEFINITELY have "Pick the Result" options.
I guess I could double down on my $50 now, making the toal a$100, but I am too tied up w Hockey and football playoffs to tie up money on an event so far out. I just allocated a little bit to lock in the +$600 in the off chance that those odds narrow. I like Cotto. I hate Mayo, but I gotta go w El Fatador here. I know I'll probably regret it. He always talks mad shit and then after getting his clock cleaned gets don on his knees apologizing to his conqueror post-fight. So funny. Fuck Manny Steward. You can't train a chin. |

Yeah the odds opened up very wide on this fight. By fight time, no question that Mayorga is inside +300. I bet Mayorga by stoppage gets set at about +600 at Sportsbook the Thursday before the fight, when you can get that line on him now for just the win. If anyone is going to play Mayorga in this fight, the time is now because I see the odds getting cut in half, at the very least.

Fuck Cotto. I want to see him get beat up good again. If it is a loose cannon like Mayorga all the better.

If it is a loose cannon like Mayorga all the better. im with you on this one stev... as long as cotto is the champ he is a looming possibility for the arum/pac milk train... plus that guy is shot... emanuel steward in his corner or not them margarito fight sapped that dude and pac finished him... ive been preaching this since the foreman fight... a puncher who can fight him back probably knocks him out.... the question will be how much does mayorga have left... if he's got some dog left in him i think he stands a very good chance in this fight.. cotto is shot. |

For some perspective on the +600 odds for Mayorga, Brian McGee is only +575 to win against Bute. Absurd - unless oddsmakers know something we don't.

While I agree that Cotto is a KO waiting to happen, Mayorga is actually the kind of bitch that I don't mind beating to unconsciousness with a couple of asphalt facials thrown in for shitz and jiggles. im interested to see how cotto reacts when mayorga starts touching him... |
