I have a blackberry and dropped its pretty much useless now. My upgrade isn't for another 4-5 months but I dont want to pay $100 insurance for another blackberry because I dont want blackberry at all anymore. I was thinking about buying an Unlocked Android until my upgrade is here and then getting another one. I know with an unlocked phone that you aren't able to put insurance on the phone which is cool because I have a back up phone but just dont want to use it.

Basically just wanted to get some of you guys opinions or known facts about the disadvantages of an unlocked phone.
