I think my post contained my thoughts on that question. IF Floyd is making EVERYONE on his bill take tests, for the purpose of cascading this stance through the different tiers of boxing then fair enough. But id need to see evidence of that before I accept that Floyds testing stance is anything more than posturing bullshit, and in the worst case, a way out of fighting you know who.

If for no other reason, recent events and revelations show that to still hold this kind of "scared of you know who" view is, to say the least, very amusing indeed. To me, that type of postulation is stuff from those who cannot be man enough to admit they've been on the wrong side of the argument all along. You guys better give it up before you yourselves become the joke. Pacquiao himself (may be along with Arum too,) has essentially given it up already.

I'm not saying Floyd or any other fighter should pay for it, I dont know how it would work down the line, but for Floyd to thrust the issue into the spotlight and get it more attention, he should have said to GBP, if we're going to do this fight, I want everyone on the card tested. That would be his contribution to cleaning up the sport.

Your just another irrational Floyd fan who is on some rather strange hell-bent crusade to make everyone else revise their negative opinion on Floyd when you and the rest of your squad share one common trait. You all, to a man, will concede absolutely nothing. You wont concede that the Pac fight not coming off is at least half Floyds fault, and you wont even concede that there is not a shred of evidence to suggest Floyds new "clean up the sport" stance has a shred of credibility.

Lol, it's obvious Mayweather is not objectively trying to clean up the sport, it's kind of pathetic that people are trying to defend and say he is. "All people that fight me for now on will need to take the test." And that's all it is. Other people changing their opinions and suggesting the sport, or sports need better drug testing is just subjective inspiration, not an objective act from Mayweather.

Floyd's motives are pretty flimsy. As someone else said, he only considered the testing when he saw an "extraordinary fighter" (his words) that may be a serious threat to him. He is banking on Pacquiao actually being a drug user, and that the test will neuter Pac's physical gifts. However, whatever his motives, he is on the right side of this issue. There's no question about that... Pacquiao and his team look like a bunch of bumbling, scheming, conniving fools right now.
