Floyd Mayweather’s upcoming fight versus Victor Ortiz is quickly approaching and he is training like a man possessed. His workouts are legendary among boxing insiders but for this fight he has taken it to the next level. Three workouts per day including nine minute rounds of sparring exemplify his dedication to remain unbeaten. Being labeled the best creates a mystique amongst his fans but Floyd understands that if he loses this fight then everything he has worked for will be stripped from him in one night. He knows that winning a rematch will do nothing to restore his braggadocian persona that holds on to his unbeaten record for relevance.
If he looks anything less than spectacular then his value drops because his braggadocio has created a precedence of excellence every time he enters the ring. The more he talks of Ortiz being easy work the more he will be scrutinized for anything that appears to be less than that. If you talk the talk then you must walk the walk. So far he has been able to accomplish this and for the most part has made it look like easy work. Read more below: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/8...ows.html?cat=14 |
