SMH...Marg's get's a pass but Martinez doesn't?? C'mon Manny what happened to the relentless warrior that quote on quote use to say all the time, "We can fight anywhere, any time" I quote. SMH, I'm missing the old Manny, them snakes in his grass, Koncz, and Arum are/probably will be the ones for his downfall in the near future. He should leave Top Rank and start his own promo company. He's a big enough star and most fighters would probably want to be under his promotions espcially lots of young upcoming Filipino fighters. I know why this fight won't happen but it would be good to see someone challenge him for once in a long while. I hope Floyd takes the challenge next year.

He has MP Promotions...roughly since 2008, I believe.

Good call Cshel....but I guess Arum has him on a choke hold he can't go and do his own thing. They said this man owes a lot of people money. SMH He will never be able to buy out his own contract like Floyd did.

If he allowed Margarito, who weighed in at 147 as recently as 2009, to fight him at a 150 lbs. catchweight, then this is a bitch ass move.

Martinez hasn't made 147 in 10 years, and you won't even give him 150 like you did for Margarito ?

Oh wait, it's the same argument as how they wanted Shane Mosley to come down to 142 or some bullshit for a fight.

It's hilarious that people are simply sticking to the argument that Martinez has to do everything and anything that Manny wants. Every elite boxer needs a dance partner to make an event happen and how is it a negotiation if you want EVERY term to happen your way ?

The truth is that Bob Arum will never let Pacquiao fight Martinez, because Sergio is so much bigger and has elite skills.

Yeah I first heard of MP Promotions around 2008, it could've been a bit earlier. Im sure Pac's money aint the only money thats messed up.
