Gotta love Alex Ariza for puttin' shit out there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) According to his statements in the interview, this isn't his first rodeo when it comes to Arum trying to boot him out of the picture. He doesn't give a damn about what others think, he pretty much just brings things to the forefront and airs it out. This isn't the first time he's put Arum on blast for his antics...especially since his mishandling of Chavez last year before his potential fight in September bout. There always seems to be some type of confusion about him in Manny or Khan's camp, and the blame always gets shifted his way. He always come forward and states his side of the story, and it's funny that we rarely hear from the "finger-pointing" party after he blasts them...which is very telling, and a good look for him. Thoughts? |

I find it sad yet hilarious how the media conveniently overlooks this issue. To me, this is way more important that the Mayweather's father/son fued. I wonder what hush tactic Top Rank will attempt to shut Ariza up because at some point, it's going to reveal some dirty secrets. Ariza doesn't hold his tongue and the last interview some months back revealed a lot... especially when he said he feels both fighters want the fight but Arum is the one holding it up. To hear that come from Manny's side is eye opening. Kudos to fighthype once again for reporting the facts and not the biased opinions.

the last rant that ariza went on was a serious break in ranks and is something that can put him on the outside looking in. he's good at what he does but is very replaceable. dude seriously oversteps his boundaries. he's not a cutman or a trainer. he should stick to what he knows....physical conditioning.
