Seriously guys, Im sure that the results of the first Alexander/Bradley fight, left a bad taste in everybody's mouth...well at least it did for me. With that said, I didn't hear many people demanding a rematch, but Im sure we can all agree with that the bout was promoted and set up all wrong. It got little attention, and the location was a bummer.
At this point in time, Alexander has fought fought Bradley once, had a "less than pleasing" fight with Matthysse, and dominantly beat the odds against Maidana in his WW debut. Bardley is fighting Pacquiao this summer, so Im sure more people will know who he is, this time around. Im not sure how Top Rank and Golden Boy will work this one out (if there's a chance) but I think people would want to see it again after all this time has passed. I believe the first fight was premature, but that's just me. I have more points, but I dont want to kill any responses. Thoughts? |

Win or Lose, I have no desire to see Alexander vs Bradley again. Despite Devin's showing, I have no reason to think the fight will go any differently. The one thing that I felt he lacked even still vs Maidana (lack of poise when being pressured), is what I felt lost him the fight vs Bradley. Alexander is a pretty good counter puncher, but his anxiety vs Maidana still left me a bit underwhelmed. I think it will get exposed by Bradley, who is more controlled in his aggression. I don't like Bradley but his footwork is way better than Maidana and I think that ultimately was the biggest advantage Alexander had last weekend.
