Nice list you got going on there Gambit! Most of these fights have "upset" written all over them, and some of them have "see-saw action" written on them as well.

The guys that I have pulling off an upset:
  1. Mosley
  2. Molina (possibly)
  3. Macklin
  4. Salido (again)

My watch-list is:
  1. D. Garcia
  2. Holt
  3. Hopkins (he usually does better in rematches)

*I thought the Matthysse/Soto bout was supposed to be on the Khan/Peterson card? Yay? Nay?

Thanks bro, now i agree with your upset list except for maybe 1, and I'll put the emphasis on "MAYBE" because in this sport anything can happen, so i see why you would point out that it's a possibility. I believe that James Kirkland has a better chin than most people give credit for, and i know most fans will point out the obvious of fight (Ishida & Angulo) but i believe that any fight he's been in where he has touched the canvas has been the result of his aggression leaving him vulnerable to get caught by a "FLASH KNOCKDOWN". Now mind you, a flash knockdown results from an opponent getting caught off gaurd from a punch he never see coming & a punch that you don't see coming is usually the most dangerous. In that Ishida fight it was clear that his short straight punches was doing him some justice against Kirkland's fighting style and it did have him hurt against a guy with a low k.o. percentage but come on ya'll he wasen't "Paul Williams vs. Sergio Martinez 2" hurt, he was only hurt enough to maybe get his shit together to fight his way back into the fight as he did against Angulo. Would I say if it would work out that way on that night idk "who know", but when you have Joe Cortez as the ref no matter if there is no 3 knockdown rule in affect, stopping the fight because he was knocked down 3 times will happen & when he fought Angulo "You already know what happened with that" thus basically proving that whole point in itself because not alot of fighters would get up and fight back after that right hand Angulo hit him with. the only thing wrong with Kirkland is that he's a flat footed fighter when he gets overly aggressive and he leaves him-self open to get caught, but me personally i just don't think molina will be able to pull off the upset. It'll be a good fight because Kirkland's in it but i see him stopping molina mid to later in the fight.

I have nothing to say about the watch list you have cause i feel the same way.

I May have been wrong with the Matthysse/ Soto clash date so if i am, i stand corrected.

People that could pull off upsets:
Macklin
Morales
Paris
Gamboa
Hopkins
Mosley
and Peterson (again) (although Khan will want a trilogy if he gets beat again...)

Good topic. You've listed quite a few matches and in some of them, one man's underdog is another man's topdog (haha, how's that for a cop out of an answer..?) e.g. Hopkins Vs. Dawson II. For me, Dawson is clearly the top dog and I don't think that Hopkins will pull off the upset (Dawson don't embarass me, please).

Good topic anyway.

I don't see Macklin beating Sergio.

Berto
Hopkins
Is peterson the underdog in the rematch too? Peterson.
Is Judah the underdog in the Paris fight? I think Zab can win, still.
