Fightnews says that a same day coverage of two world title fights will be coming from China on HBO 2. They will be as follows:
Rocky Martinez (Champ) vs #1 contender Diego Magdaleno (WBO Jr. Lightweight Championship) -AND- Brian Vilora (Unified Champion) vs. Juan Estrada (WBA/WBO Flyweight Championship) Plus. China’s two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time World Amateur Champion Zou Shiming. Broadcasting will be Larry Merchant, Tim Ryan, and Big George Foreman! Please have this work out! I would love to see Tim Ryan and Big George over at HBO. Especially George again. Years ago, I thought he said idiotic things, but now I miss him. Jack Wow, just.....WOW!!....this is an unproven cat they pushing on us and I know they gon play up the Olympic angle but what pisses me off is that they just jumped on the Andre ward bandwagon when he proved himself over at Showtime. HBO is like a misguided parent and we the fans are the kids who have to take care of them to get them to get their shit straight |
