So there is a report on the front page saying sources confirmed that berto has been training in hunters gym. To me this will be a good move for berto, until he gets hit that is. I think virgil can make him be more careful and maybe increase his ring iq, but once he gets hit/if he gets hit he will crumble and resort back to his slugging ways.

Your guys thoughts on this?

it's possible for berto to become better under hunter for several reasons.

first and foremost....hunter has a way better understanding of what needs to be done than berto's last trainer. he will fix most of his flaws and will drill all the fundamentals he needs to get back to.

the other thing is that hunter has a pretty good stable at this point so berto will be sparring with some really good stable mates. quality sparring is probably one of the biggest ways to improve a fighter.

as mentioned in previous posts....there will be calm in the corner. his brother and everyone else had absolutely no business being in his corner.

berto is a natural athlete who has plenty of room for improvement. the problem was...he didn't have the right guy to teach him the things he needs to learn. now he does. the rest is up to him. it's a step in the right direction. hopefully virgil hunter is not so busy that he is unable to impact berto's career in a positive manner.
