I was at Rios/Alvarado 2....Broner KOs Crawford imo.Better fight to be made with Broner

Curious what makes you think that?

I don't doubt he couldn't but between Crawfords two masterful performances on Hbo I'm wondering what you saw that made you think anyone could ko this kid yet

How does Donaire have a fight before Rigondeaux? That should answer your question!

i just read that arum said anytime he mentions rigondeaux's name to hbo they throw up. these guys don't even realize they are sitting on a potential all time great fighter with all of the opposition sitting in front of him. they truly do NOT know shit about boxing.

how in the world is a network which is one of the premiere networks in the u.s. that covers boxing so fucking stupid!?!?!?

how is a promoter who is one of the best in the world this fucking dumb!?!?!?

i don't get it. these guys truly do not know shit about boxing. it's really sad.

is that Black fighters have no fan base and that masses African Americans (Blacks) do not follow the sport like mexicans so they are not worth a big promotional investments?

crawford can punch and is very cerebral in the ring. I like him and think that he would give Broner hell

if that were true....how was joe louis so popular??? what about ray robinson??? muhammad ali??? ray leonard??? mike tyson??? roy jones??? floyd mayweather???

people need to stop repeating that lie and giving these sorry excuse for promoters and networks that way out. it's pure bullshit.

They are in love with the knockout artist as fighters not the boxer. They nut over fighters like GGG, Pac, Rios, and other fighters that can promise a great show. I think HBO is just trying to upstage Showtime however they can. They also put fighters on that Jim Lamply nuts over and Kellerman is in awe of. Its disgusting. Donaire got his ass beat by a pure boxer and they are letting this guy fight a rematch against a guy he already beat! Go fucking figure. The only reason this fight gets made because it promises a knockout. HBO is about to lose fans and interest. There is more than the sport than knockouts. That is like someone only watching basketball for the dunks and baseball for the homeruns. It is bullshit on the highest level.

If Mexicans pushed the sport of boxing then every Mexican fighter would be selling out arenas and doing big PPV numbers. Mexicans cheer for the superstar fighter see Canelo. He hasn't done a damn thing in the sport, hasn't beaten anyone Austin Trout included, and yet he is a star. Fighters like Mikey Garcia, Mares, and even Mike Alvarado have a very small fan base hell Josesito Lopez and Chris Arreola are all Mexicans and they have a small following. Cut that shit out. Boxing isn't just for Mexicans and Mexicans aren't the only ones who watch boxing. Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Blacks, and Whites all contribute to the popularity of boxing.

jim lampley and bob arum....all that is wrong with boxing.

mexicans are the biggest fan base in all of boxing....but let's not act like everyone else doesn't exist. it's the rivalries that fuel the sport. it's the variance of styles that make the fights exciting. it's bullshit like lampley and merchant and what they have spewed over the years about "great boxing" that has brain washed the fight fans.

Crawford vs Gamboa might be headed to a undercard slot on Cotto's Oct 5th return according to Arum

HE LOOKED LOST IN THE RING! He could not find a rhythm or a fighting style. It was really sad to see.
