He's simply a reluctant promoter when it comes to Black fighters, because that demographic is heavily in favor of Floyd Mayweather, Adrien Broner and Andre Ward.

Arum would have to compete with those guys and simply doesn't see it as making much business sense.

He's a piece of shit though. A loathsome, vile, disgusting waste of human space.

INTERESTING HOW ARUM IS THE "WHITE" DON KING --- I did not realize how much people cannot stand this guy. He is as hated as KING was relative to his exploitation and shrewd dealings

i was shocked that he had crawford on the undercard of rios/alvarado. but then again...he was a last minute replacement. broner would have been a last minute option as well i'm sure.

Me too, but you're right, he was a last minute replacement. If Arum had Broner, he wouldn't have a problem promoting him, because he pretty much promotes himself.

Think about it, Broner is the "Mayweather of a few years ago", super flashy with a big mouth. We'd have to hear Arum brag about how Broner is a better product than Mayweather ever was, under his banner. He still seems butthurt about Oscar and Floyd leaving him, so I wouldn't rule it out.

He'd probably match Mayweather Jr Jr up with Provodnikov for 8mil so that we can watch Mayweather Jr Jr run like hell. No matter, his faithful fans will pull out their torches and pitchforks while defending Mayweather Jr Jr fighting the true champion Sebastian Lujan.

broner would be making far less money and wouldn't be on televised bouts if he fought under arum. especially after the ponce de leon fight. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Arum would have Broner wear Jerhl Curl and walk the aisle with a boom box while flashing his EBT card, you know to get the black fan base.

Hell, Broner's pretty close to setting us black people back about another 30 years anyway, so what you described will probably just make him seem cool. But remember, he liiiive though!
