An action packed co-feature has been added to a great night of boxing scheduled for July 26th at the Thunder Valley Casino & Resort in Sacramento, California as part of ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.

In the exciting co-feature, it will be a ten round Lightweight bout for the WBO Latino Super Featherweight title as Juan Carlos Burgos battles Daulis Prescott.

The fights are promoted by Banner Promotions & Thompson Boxing.

Juan Carlos Buros of Tijuana, Mexico has record 30-1-1 with 20 KOs and most in boxing are calling him an “Uncrowned World Champion” for his effort on January 19th, when he battled WBO Jr. Lightweight Champion Roman Martinez to a draw. Most at ringside and the millions watching on HBO believed that Burgos deserved to walk out of Madison Square Garden with the belt but the judges dindn’t see it that way as the fight was scored 117-111 for Burgos, 116-112 for Martinez and 114-114.

The 26 years old is unbeaten in his last six fights, which include wins over undefeated Luis Cruz and Cesar Vazquez, as well as former world champion Cristobal Cruz

Live world championship boxing comes to the Amphitheater, presented by global sports television leader ESPN with Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas. The seven-bout card begins at 6PM and will feature two World Championship bouts, along with special guest appearances by boxing legends Tony "The Tiger" Lopez, James "Lights Out" Toney and Loreto Garza.

The main attraction features Juan Carlos Burgos (30-1-1, 20 KO’s) going toe to toe with Yakubu "Black Mamba" Amidu (20-4-1, 18 KO's), planning to fight for the World Boxing Organization's Intercontinental Lightweight title. Burgos, of Tijuana, Mexico, is widely considered one of the best Junior Lightweights in the world today. Ghana native Amidu is a powerful, all-action fighter with superb stamina. The 12-round title bout should be quite a battle.

The night also brings Miguel "Silky Smooth" Gonzalez (21-3-0, 15 KO’s) of Cleveland, Ohio taking on WBO Latino Super Featherweight Champion Josenilson Dos Santos (26-1-0, 16 KO’s) of Sao Paulo, Brazil in a regional title bout. Also on the card is the 2012 Olympic Bronze medalist from the Ukraine and now undefeated professional Taras Shelestyuk (3-0-0, 3 KO’s).
