Stevens really feeling himself right now. That Brooklyn is really coming out in this post fight interview (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's that Brownsville... Wonder if he's a fan/student of a certain 'Iron' Brownsville boxer?
Stevens is very hittable, but if he improves his D, then he might really do something.

Man he was talking about crunch and he started grunting and I couldn't stop laughing. He is a talent no doubt about that and he is not afraid to fight Golovkin. I give him points for that but he's lose that fight because he isn't hard to find when it comes to the defense. But with a few more fights, he could make it interesting against GGG. Stevens was getting hit with some silly punches but maybe that's because he had one mind frame of the fight and that was to end it early.

Yeah man, I alternated between cringing from the sheer hoodness (ironic, talking about someone being hood while using a completely made up word) to admiring him for not giving a fuck.
Apart from that, I generally agree with what you said re. GGG, but I won't write Stevens off completely.

i missed this card. sounds like chambers was in against another counter puncher. that would explain his low punch out put. blame the matchmaker.

i won't watch adamek. not after the two gifts he got. mainevents ain't force feeding me him. i liked him at light heavy...his best days are behind him.

curtis stevens....i caught that one. that was a beautifully timed counter against a guy who was wide open for it. stevens/golovkin would be exciting. i'm sure it'll happen.

He got a Zab Judah mouth on him lol

Golovkin needs an opponent for his November date, maybe he should look at at Stevens, he won't back down from him and I think it would be a good scrap

If Stevens really commits to his D, definitely. If he doesn't....

He talked all that trash and he just turned down $300,000 to fight GGG on November. I guess another one wants to be left out in the cold, he's the b side of the card. I think the offer was fair

And he turned it down like a goof. He's pricing himself out yet he's sending messages out like he's worth a cool mil and saying Golovkin's ream low balled him because they don't want the fight....Brooklyn all day. so embarrassing

Hell I just read Zab might be going back to training with Yoel, a dark day for Brooklyn indeed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I wouldn't mind GGG fighting Stevens...why? Because the dude fights 3 times a year...so I can stomach a Stevens fight, and know for a fact that GGG's gonna fight a formidable opponent by year's end, or early next year.
