I would have made Trout -Angulo and Ponce vs Russell instead of putting Carlos Molina on another ppv.

Molina has a strap in the same division as Floyd. With the lack of opposition on the horizon for Floyd I wouldnt be surprised if we see Floyd fight the winner of Molina/Ortiz.

This is a great card. Doubt if i'm buying it though.

Broner by UD
Molina by SD
Thurman by UD
Angulo by TKO

Have to bump this thread and take a bow, you're absolutely correct.

Looks like the IBF wont sanction Molina vs Ortiz...and I say, THANK GOD! Now, the IBF can keep boring ass Molina and their piece of shit title, who cares. At this point, I'd be happy to see Ortiz/Mosley, and Molina can go jerk off somewhere else.

Im telling you, I felt so cheated out of my money, while Molina and Smith held no punches with boring my company during that last Mayweather card. The last decent Molina fight that I saw, was the Kirkland fight, then he fought some dude on FNFs a few months ago.

I can do without Molina, Smith, and the IBF. Again, who cares about these stupid titles anyway? You're either the interim champ, super champ, silver, champ, gold champ, regular champ, runner up, almost your time, or half-assed champ...and that's all under one title belt. Who has time to keep up with that? Lol

Actually... The card may have just gotten better!!!

With the situation that occurred Wednesday, rumor is Mosley may replace molina, now I know Mosley is no spring chicken but he likes to mix it up just like ortiz, and with victors jedi mental fortitude id give Mosley a decent chance to go in there and give him trouble.

The boxing gods are on our side this year, I'm tellin ya bro (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dirol.gif)

Good card for competitive matches. NOT good for PPV, unless it was something like the old days of boxing at $29.95. The probable $50-$60 for this is ridiculous! Yahoo Sports thinks so as well:

Except in the Mayweather fight when after hurting Floyd he remembered he was just supposed to get paid to show up. Mosley hasn't mixed it up and really looked good since Margacheato, And that was probably because "Cheato" didn't have his loaded gloves. He beat that dude in Mexico, (Cano?) But Mosley's days as a winning fighter and an exciting fighter I think have passed.

At this point, you gotta wonder...would it have been worse for us to pay for these fights and get halfway decent scorecards, or see GOOD fights in Texas (for free) and watch the cards get jizzed away?

LOL!!! Is Showtime gonna really have the budget to do all those fights? My guess is they will show three of them and Showtime Extreme will do the others.

Jack

PS. I know CShel, we got CJ Ross gone hopefully for good, now we'll probably get stuck with Lawrence Cole and Gale Van Hoy! There WILL be some fuck ups I am gonna say in two of the fights!

When they said Texas I got disappointed. Good card but controversy is bound to happen
