Marktability equals money. Cash rules, since Adrien is being billed as the next star in boxing. Don't nobody on that card name ring bells with casuals except Adrien and Victor

On another note, Maidana is supposedly working with Ariza. I kinda don't understand the move because he's never had the issues in which most fighters bring in Ariza but it's an interesting twist

I have to say, not only am I impressed with Golden Boy. I'm impressed with the fighters. As CShel said, not normal for fighters on the come up nowadays to agree to fight on the same card. Broner seemed like he wasn't thrilled about the bout not being PPV anymore but other than that, everyone pretty much just wants to fight big fights on Showtime. I wish Ortiz would have fought Shane Mosley. That way, at least one of them would most likely have to shut the fuck up forever when they lose (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye.gif)

Glad Golden Boy fighters are willing to take this step. Even if they're matched against guys who probably wont be a threat (on paper), they still wont turn it down, like they're too hollywood. I kinda wanted the Ortiz/Mosley scrap as well, but Shane tends to disappoint JUST as bad as he does when he headlines his own card. Best thing to do with that, is let him headline his own card, get beat, and fade away...hopefully.

Sounds like everyone but broner is getting chump change

That's how these PPV cards go man...I couldnt believe it, until about 2 years ago. I thought that if the fight was on PPV, then ALL of the fighters will be getting big paydays...boy was I wrong. If anything, they just get a bigger stage to show their talents.

On the Morales/Maidana card, Morales was only guaranteed $500k, and he was the attraction that night...so imagine how much Maidana made (couldn't have been much), let alone the rest of the guys. I think I remember Paulie making somewhere around $100k that night (to fight J. Cotto), so that should tell you something. I remember them disclosing the Mayweather/Cotto purse split...of course those two got the lion's share, the Canelo pulled in about $1.2M, while Shane only got about $600k. I remember guys like Lattimore, Vargas, and Quintana getting between $50k-$80K....so yeah, those splits are ridiculous.

Man everybody got a sextape. It's sad the times we live in but can't name too many that don't

I'd like to see the money figures for this cars and the Judah-Malinaggi card too. The fighters are definitely making a sacrifice to pull off a quadruple header

I don't think shane is under gbp anymore. But the only gbp fighter I know of turning fights down is guerrero.

I don't think he's been with GB since he decided to give up his stake in the company and pursue that Pacquiao fight. But after that he tucked tail and went right back to GB. Just like how Schaefer setup the Mundine fight for him. When your as desperate as he appears to you can't be choosy
