I've only seen about 2 of Stephens fights, one where he got beat up pretty bad. I hope he, at the very least, makes it competitive. I'm not sure if that will happen though given the fact that I'm pretty sure Stevens is Sharmba Mitchell with a beard (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (google image it and tell me I'm lying lol). Or maybe he's Brian Pumper (the porn star/wannabe with the cheesy jewelry lol). Or maybe he's Battle Rapper Charlie Clips. Either way, none of these guys resemble people that will likely beat GGG tonight. So whoever he is, I hope he make it interesting tonight.

At least on paper, knowing how HBO operates in recent years, if this Stevens dude was a real threat, HBO would not have him as an opponent against Triple G. I know Stevens can crack! And even though I like Triple G, an upset would be fun just to see Lamply with egg all over his face!

Best guess is that Stevens can't take a punch too well. I hope he's not some Bruce Seldon who had no chin. Even though I remember Seldon's fight with Tony Tucker and that was REALLY GOOD! I think that if we see Triple G staggered or maybe even on the floor and rallying to win, that in of itself will make for a very good to great fight!

I usually dont sleep on short guys in boxing...they never fail to disappoint. The easiest game plan to give to Stevens, is to keep using lateral movement, and keep GGG off balance, so he cant sit down and land anything big. Problem is, GGG will probably be doing that to Stevens, and second, Stevens will have to IMPLEMENT that game plan continuously.

Anyhow, GGG has great footwork and has heavy hands, regardless of whether he truly sits down on his shots. The money prediction would be GGG by stoppage, but me thinks that Stevens will shake things up and shuts HBO up. I think Im just gonna pull for the underdog for the rest of this year...just to make this mediocre life of mine, interesting. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's HBO so probably me and you...and in typical Top Rank fashion, I'm probably not going to make weight (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
