Wexley "Power" Gawn has announced he is to stay at middleweight for the time being and he has thrown out a challenge to new champion Fernando Vargas. If Vargas doesn't want to take the fight then "Power" has asked to box Joe Grim in a final tune-up bout.

Vargas accepts Power Gawns challenge but wants 1 easier defense.

Ok thats fair.
Wexley can box Ibrahim Calypso in his warm up bout if you agree to that?

Vargas said he wanted an easier defense before facing Gawn but he's boxing Manuel "Diez Punos" Cortez and that is a tough fight. Cortez has won his last 5 by knockout. This is a really good match-up.

No he didn't! Super got robbed in fight 1 and then got super robbed in fight 2 when those judges Vargas had in his pocket gave him a draw. Super wants Vargas or Wexley, it don't matter! Give them to him!

Vargas has been stopped for the first time in his career and has now retired.
Wexley Gawn, Super, Cortez, Richard Johnson, Abu-Husson are the top 5 without a doubt.
