11:45 PM Mike Mollo (USA) 1.57 X 29.00 Andrew Golota (POL) 2.35
2:00 AM Roy Jones (USA) 1.20 X 26.00 Felix Trinidad (PUR) 4.33
11:45 PM Roman Karmazin (RUS) 1.04 X 34.00 Alex Bunema (COD) 9.00

I ve been wondering about the Mollo-Golota fight.....The early odds had Mollo as a relatively big favorite (1.45), but over the last few days they odds shot up to 1.57. I am not entirely sure why. Anyhow, the entire card looks like a pretty good parlay opportunity: betting on Mollo, RJJ and Karmazin. Is anyone beting on these fights, and if so how? JD....?

PS. JD I made a pretty good return on Malignaggi via 2 separate bets (Paulie on points and Over 10), so thanks for the tips.

What are the over / unders on these fights?

As insane as it may sound, I kinda like Tito at +300. Roy has said that he's having a hard time making 168 and I personally don't think he should be fighting at less than 190, because when he moved up to hw (193), he was all muscle and I think it was a huge mistake for him to move back to 175. Think about it, Glen Johnson knocked him out and Roy never bothered with a rematch.

Roy's been talking ko like I've never heard him talk before, and all Tito has to do is land one punch for the fight to be over.

Does anyone know the odds for Tito by ko?

I have not seen odds yet on Trinidad by KO, but if he's around +275 just to win I would think +375 or so for the KO.

I really think Jones by stoppage is the way to go for reasons I've outlined in the other thread. Getting -120 on the under of 10.5 rounds is such a gimme bet. Regardless of who you think may KO who, I think this fight has a much better chance of NOT going the distance rather than going the distance.

Can't see how Tito beats Jones. All he would have is a punchers chance. Jones is past his prime for sure but so is Tito. At 170, he will be weaker and slower. I think Jones easily outboxes him then knocks him out silly in the middle rounds.

Karmazin..EASY.

As for Golota-Mollo...to be honest, I could see Golota getting layed out in the first 2 rounds. In fact, I'm leaning towards that result. Mollo is absolutely nothing special...but Golota is past-it...slow..AND shaky. Golota was blown out by Brewster and rocked early vs. McBride. Mollo is a pretty big puncher with a good left hook.

I got Mollo by early stoppage but I dont know if I'd put money on it.

Nah, save that money and put it on Jones by stoppage (or the under).

I like Roy and the over...if he stops him, I tend to think it will be late.

Karmazin and the under.
TheWhiteBuffalo
The White Buffalo will discuss the only important fight tonight.....

Andrew Golota is in shape for this fight. Golota looked focused and ripped. There is no doubt that Golota can still get one more shot at the title before he is gone.

Sure, he was rocked by Mcbride in the first round, but for Golota to power through it and not quit is hopefully an indication that his mind is together these days. Golota has the experience and should have no problems taking out the youngblood in Mollo within (5) rounds. Bet the house, land, dog and tupperware set on Golota. Buffalo gets 6% of the winnings.

I am going with straight bets on RJJ and Mollo. The odds on Karmazin are crap, and I am not sure he is taking out the guy who went 7 with Jermaine Taylor. His weight last night was kinda weird as well.........IMO.

I tend to think Mollo can crack Golota's spirit.

JD you know the over/under on the Jones fight is 10.5 rounds right? That means half way into the 11th round... I think if Roy stops Trinidad it will be well within that time frame. I'm shocked that the over/under isn't 7.5 or 8.5 rounds for this fight.

I saw the over / under at 9.5 rounds.

Has it changed?

I think this fight makes it through 10...I actually think it goes the full 12. Though if the over / under takes us half way through the 11th, it is not worth it.

I have not seen it any less than 10.5 - I'm only going by sportsbook.com though and have not exactly been looking for a different cutoff.

The thing of it is that usually when we see an over/under set at X.5 rounds, when you look at picks for the fight you'll see most of them right around the over/under... X-2 - X+2 in rounds give or take. When you look at the predictions in this forum most of the Jones stoppage picks are around rounds 5-8, indicating to me that the over/under should be more in the 7.5 or 8.5 ballpark if you use our forum as a representation of the whole. If everyone was picking a stoppage in rounds 10-12 I would say the over/under was properly set.

LOL, kinda hapy about avoiding the parlays this weekend.....Karmazin was a shocker. Well, made some dough on RJJ but lost it on Mollo....

K.I.S.S.

The Karmazin fight absolutely shocked me. I totally expected him to catch Bunema coming out of a bob.
