Last night, Carlos "El Apostle" Maussa faced longtime rival, Zab Judah, in what would be his final fight....because the former World Junior Welterweight Boxing Champion and beloved Colombian is dead.

Earlier this morning, Maussa (who was terminally ill with Cancer), was found naked and motionless in his hospital room's bathtub. Initial reports are stating the death was caused by blunt force trauma to the head.

Maussa's best friend and manager, SKULLSPLITTER - The C.E.O., has issued the following statement....

"Carlos Maussa was a great man. He fought and lived without fear. He could take a beating as well as he could dish one out...but in his weakened condition, I knew was extra susceptible to injury. He left the ring on his own accord last night and seemed fine...........I know he didn't mean it....but Zab Judah took my boy! (crying)...that's all....that's all for now..."

Several Members of The C.E.O.'s Dungeon immediately announced their retirement following the tragic news of Maussa's passing. This is truly the end of an Era. Stay tuned as we will be following this story with any and all developments...

Latest news: Judah, NOWHERE to be found!

QUOTE
Zab Judah and Carlos Maussa waged war for the 3rd and final time last night. Maussa, who was aboslutely in no condition to fight Zab Judah, lost the brutal war by 7th round knockdout. Zab was happy and went straight home and straight to bed. However, Zab was anything but happy the next morning. The news got to Zab that Maussa had suffered a trauma to his head and had been found dead in his bathtub the next morning. When Judah's best friend, Paulie Malignaggi, told him the news, Judah was absolutely shocked. "His motuh was open, he was speechless." said Paulie. According to Paulie, Judah locked himself in his room. Paulie heard noises of sobbing. "This is really a tragedy. God bless Maussa'." A few hours later, the fighters of Jduah went to comfort the legend in his room. The door was unlocked and Judah was nowhere to be found. "We are all worried for Zab. He is not only our trainer but our friend." said Paulie.

Judah is supposed to be fighting Roland Navarette next but as of right now, the fight is off. Judah will probably not be fighting for a while, until we find him. "He is probably back to being a crackhead.....he promised me a payday" said Fernando Vargas."

This fight might have really been the end of an era. RIP Maussa.
Stay tuned..

Cotto to pay for Maussa Funeral Expenses
2 Division World Champion and current 5-Time Jr. Welterweight Champion Of The World, Miguel Cotto, after hearing news of Maussa's passing after his loss to Zab Judah has announced he is paying for all of Maussa's funeral expenses and giving money to Maussa's family to make sure they live the good life. Cotto was seen shedding tears on receiving word that the former Jr. Welterweight Champion Of The World, Carlos Maussa, being dead.
Maxy
Maxy Krumbsnatcher led the tributes to Maussa from his Krumbsnatcher gym.

He said, "I remember way back when Carlos boxed Pavel "The Spy" Molotov and he'd taken a beating for the entire fight. At the end of the 10th Carlos was literally dead on his feet but he wouldn't give up. He kept coming at Pavel, throwing big bombs and looking for the victory. Going into the 12th Carlos had nothing but his heart left....it was a formality that Pavel would knock him out...I mean the Skullsplitter had to pick him off his stool to send him out for the last round. Pavel walked in and knocked him down....no way could he get up, but the boy got up...he came straight back at Pavel and got floored brutally again...I swear I will never know how he got to his feet, but he did and amazingly he survived the round. When the bell rang Carlos couldn't remember where his corner was and he came and sat down on Pavel's stool. All he kept muttering was, one more round and I can get this chump. I'll never forget it. He was a brave, brave man and the sport of boxing will miss him immensely. Carlos Maussa was a great man....My condolences go to his family and his friends. R.I.P Carlos Maussa. We may never see the likes of him again."
The CEO
Judah can't feel responsible....I hope he's alright. Maussa fully knew the risk he was taking. This is all so very tragic...everyone close to Carlos is shook up. They're telling me they can't see themselves training at The Dungeon anymore because of all the memories there...and I understand...for I am contemplating my future as well...

So at this time, I want to find the rest of my boys a new home...these fighters will be transferred to gyms that need impact players, show the most interest, or make the best offers...

Heavyweight - Max Kellerman regional_champion (28-8-0) 17(18) will go back to Big G as that is his wish...

CyruS
Don't do it C! Keep training all those fighters!
The CEO
I am very moved by Cotto's and Maxy's generosity and tributes...............................

Maussa loved everyone in WebL, and I know he would appreciate such kind gestures. He was one of a rare breed of fighters that could find love for his opponent while warring with them.

I need a moment here........................
Maxy
Walking away from the Dungeon now is not the answer. These fighters need to box on at the Dungeon in honour of their stablemate Maussa. In fact I feel that the Dungeon should set about creating a whole new breed of fighters.
BigG
Agreed. Rumor has it that Michael Grant might move to the Dungeon.
Maxy
Meanwhile.....

New middleweight champ Jowett Pipes, when told of Maussa's death, shocked the boxing world when he said, "Who gives a fuck man? Maussa was a shit fighter, overrated.....fuck I'm only sayin' what everyone thinks. The guy was a bum, a disgrace to the sport. Fuck him, his gym, his family."

Pipes' outburst has stunned boxing.
Maxy
I'll offer Lanky Gawn plus a fight plan to The Dungeon as a tribute from The Krumbsnatcher gym.
CyruS
Now that is big of Maxy. Props.
BigG
I say we induct Maussa into the HOF right away. Wins over Zab Judah, Jabdiel Judah, Rock Allen, and Freddie McPheerson. Former 140 pound champion...been here sine the very beginning.
The CEO
Addressing tributes, offers, the future of The Dungeon, what not...

Me and my gym are definitely NOT leaving WebL....in fact....this is where we begin again...some of my men no longer want to train here....and I am good with that....I understand....it IS best for all parties involved...

I took them as far as they could go with my strong, yet limited skills as a trainer....not saying I was a bad trainer...but I know I'm not the best. Even my harshest critics have admitted I've shown many flashes of brilliance throughout several of my mens' careers....

These men will be better off at other gyms....gyms that need help or leaders....perhaps gyms with the most experienced managers....I will negotiate or be charitable with those veterans....

It IS time to start fresh....Otto Blatty, John Smith, and The Brown Brothas (Kole and Doo Doo) have decided to stay and build with me....I am also ready to release some good bums to bum gyms for free....

They are...

"The Boogeyman" Jesse Ferguson (6-10-0) 1(3)

Luther "Baby Wipe" Louis (4-7-3) 1(2)

"Prince of the Bums" Hank Bummy Jr. (0-5-0) 0(0)...who is waiting for a resolution with his daddy by the way....

"Sugar" Ray Robinson III (5-6-3) 4(4)

Raymon Le Banner (0-2-0) 0(0)

Just correspond in this thread with your interest....

As for Maxy's offer with Lanky....I graciously accept.

As for Pipes' outburst...well....one would expect that from him....

Carlos Maussa was a fighter's fighter, a former Champion....and despite all his vices...he was a wonderful human being...so with all things considered...the laughs, the wars, the memories....he DESERVES to be in The Hall of Fame.

Breaking News: JUDAH FOUND!

QUOTE
Jabdiel Judah and Paulie Malignaggi found Judah sitting in an alley in Brooklyn, not very far away from his gym, all by himself and brought him back to the gym. Zab is absolutely devastated by what happened and has announced his retirement from boxing. Judah originally was supposed to end his career fighting Navarette and Cotto but plans have changed. Judah said that he was sorry for what happened and is still clearly in shock and devastated.

Judah also announced that he will be moving away and does not want to be around media.

More to come soon...
The CEO
Judah needs to do some soul searching. We should respect Judah's wishes during this time........I know he will find his way.

and it's official....The C.E.O.'s Dungeon is no more. From this day forward, we shall be known as....

II - Insanity International

I will assemble and train fighters from across the globe.....and we will all be walking that fine line between Crazy and Genius.

BREAKING NEWS: JUDAH TALKS TO THE PRESS...HE WILL FIGHT ON!

QUOTE
"The shocking death of rival, Carlos Maussa, brought Judah to tears and caused Judah to do some soul searching and he did just that. Judah spoke to the press and said "It's all very tragic....This is a sport and a business. Carlos was my friend. Judah said that he will push through with his plans of fighting Navarette and Cotto. "If Carlos were here today, he would have wanted me to do the same thing! It's a promise I made to myself, knowmsayin?". I want to retire a HOFer with Maussa and Cotto...and to do that I must fight Navarette and Cotto! Judah also gave a shout out to McPheerson and told him to keep fighting on. "How you gon' retire off of a performance like that! You back in the top 5 with that win over Rock! Fight in honor of Maussa! I'll put you in with some tuneups!"

Judah will be wearing special trunks in his next fight. A trunks with a picture of him and Maussa going to war. Judah says that him and Maussa were the same type of fighter. "We aint got the best records, but you MUST respect us!".

Judah has said that Navarette and Cotto are legends for sure. "Nothing personal, but I gotta do em in before I go!".

Judah also said that if he catches Jowett Pipes in the streets, he will dish out a serious beatdown and rob him off whatever cash he has.
The CEO
That's the Zab Judah I know!

You ARE a Legend....I know you can KICK THE SHIT outta Navarette...you got The Power!

NAHHHMEEEEAAANNNN!!!

DO THAT SHIT, HOMEY!!!

As far as McPheerson...he and I just finished having a conversation about his future....he wants to come back and fight for me again as it wouldn't be right for him to call another gym his home. This has been a very rough day for everyone close to Maussa...the kind of day that can cloud anyone's judgement.
The CEO
Since Freddy made his decision....Boome, Sloan, and Lil' Slanger have all followed suit and want to come back as well...

Kellerman and Thomas Hearns want to go back to you though, Big G....just let me know which gym you want me to transfer them to....
BigG
There is a rumor going around that Judah's last fight might be against "LIGHTS OUT" for the WELTERWEIGHT title. Judah will make sure Freddie wins a belt before he retires.

Hearns is yours.

Kellerman can go to the Dark Side
CyruS
Zab must be high on crack because lights out is the welterweight champ not the lightweight champ, thats joan guzman laugh.gif
BigG
Well, Zab is usually high on crack cocaine, but he is SURE he wants Lights Out.
