Just a couple of quick updates...

Manny Steward says Valuev is the best marketable opponent for Klitschko:

Personally, I like that fight better than a fight with Chagaev.

Bob Arum confirms they're looking at Giovanni Lorenzo or Randy Griffin (had a draw with Felix Sturm) as Pavlik's next opponent:

Not really sure if either guy is much of an upgrade from Duddy.

Jeff Mayweather will be training Joan Guzman for his upcoming fight:

It looks like Big Floyd is spreading himself too thin. He'll be focused on Oscar for his upcoming tune-up and he's talking about training Zab. If I were Guzman, I wouldn't be too happy about that.

Paulie Malignaggi confirms it's looking like he'll get Hatton in the fall....says they'll probably fight separate opponents on the same card in spring to set up fall showdown:

Personally, I'd rather see Hatton fight Witter due to the bad blood between them, but I guess a fight with Malignaggi will give us an idea of how that Witter fight would play out.

Plus....if anyone cares, Butterbean is calling out "Internet Legend" Kimbo Slice:

Definitely a step up from Tank Abbott...and truth be told, I think ol' Butterbean could take him.

Okay...that's all I got....now everybody get back to work.

LOL

I hope Gumzan takes care of business against this cat he's fighting next..Gumzna will be fighting in his opponents backyard.

6 months ago I would have rather seen Klit fight Chagaev but because of last saturday I'd also prefer to see him fight Vakuev, hell at least he'll be able to reach Klit.

Witter blasts Hatton out much like PBF did.

Hatton is already on the British fight fans' shit list...they've really turned on him...laugh.gif

If he finally fights Witter and gets beaten convincingly...it would be the nail in his coffin....so I don't see Hatton willing to risk what credibility he has left over there...

LOL. C.E.O, does your hate have no end? Hatton already got whooped by Mayweather. Now you want a harder puncher than PBF to blast out Hatton? How about channeling your hate towards something else like turtles or fellow drivers who cut you off on the highway.

laugh.gif...I'm not saying that, Triple M...you know I've been at peace with the Hatton situation since he received The Check Up from Doctor Mayweather....that beating satisfied me...

I was just making a comment on his future plans....

I'm saying Hatton probably won't fight Witter...it's too much of a risk....losing to his rival countryman after all these years would be his rock bottom...he's thinking about going into promoting over there and can't have that...

Nice updates. Thanks for that man.

I wouldn't mind seeing Valuev vs. Klitschko. Klit might be forced to actually fight instead of relying on his jab to keep smaller opponents away from him all night long.

I still think he'd win, but at least he'd be fighting someone his own size. lol

Arthur is little more than a domestic level fighter over here, I can't see Guzman having too many problems even with our dodgey British officials rolleyes.gif
