CyruS "No Fear" ViruS retired in the early evening of June 1, 2008. He compiled a record of 29-15-4 7KOs over 7 weight classes, winning world titles in 6 of them.
No Fear started his career on May 27, 2007 in the strawweight division (weighing in at 106 pounds) against future world champion Bobby Pacquiao, No Fear lost that fight via shutout. He was determined to not let the loss deter him. He rebounded in his next fight against Julio Cesar Duran where No Fear won via shutout.
No Fear got his chance to exact some revenge against Bobby Pacquiao in a #1 contenders match to the strawweight title. No Fear got his revenge with a UD victory over the future world champion.
June 17, 2007 the original little man's super fight. Virtually Undefeated #1 Contender to the strawweight title No Fear took on the Undefeated Strawweight Champion of the World and future HOFer Fernando "Cuchulito" Montiel. The fight went to a dead even draw with one judge having it in favor of No Fear.
Following the draw, Montiel vacated the title and moved up. No Fear stayed behind and battle his other strawweight rival, Bobby Pacquiao for the now vacant World Strawweight Championship. No Fear won a hotly contested battle with a Majority Decision victory. No Fear is a world champion.
No Fear's first defense of his newly won title would be against future strawweight legend Kieran "The Pikey" Conway. No Fear defeated Conway via Unanimous Decision.
Following the Conway bout, No Fear jumped up to Jr. Flyweight (109 pounds) and take on now Jr. Flyweight Champion Fernando "Cuchulito" Montiel in a big rematch of their draw 3 pounds south at strawweight. What followed was a diffcult fight to score but at the end of the night, Montiel had his hand raised and retained the title.
After the rematch with Montiel, Montiel opted to once again move up in weight. As before, No Fear stayed behind to battle for now vacated World Jr. Flyweight Championship. He took on Undefeated Knockout Artist Andrei Sokolnikov. No Fear was ill prepared for Sokolnikov fury and No Fear found himself knocked out for the first time in his career in the very first round.
Following his knockout defeat, No Fear took on future world champion AJ Banal and lost a disputed majority decision victory. With now a record of 0-3 at Jr. Flyweight, No Fear believed he should return to Strawweight and reclaim the world strawweight championship, this time in a rematch against now champion Kieran "The Pikey" Conway, No Fear was ill prepared for his opponents adjustments and No Fear found himself TKO'd in 9 rounds. No Fear suffers his 2nd knockout defeat.
No Fear then fought a series of tune up bouts at strawweight which including a 4 fight win streak after losing to Conway in that strawweight title rematch, although No Fear win streak was interrupted against Augusto Pinochet when No Fear suffered a disputed loss via split decision.
Following that disputed loss, No Fear started readjusting his style to become more agressive. It paid off immediately as he garnered back to back knockout victories split between strawweight and jr. flyweight. With his come from behind knockout victory in the 12th round against Richie "No-chance" Marsh, No Fear found himself in a title match for the World Jr. Flyweight Championship against World Champion and future 4-Division world champion Awesome Awesome.
Septemer 23, 2007 marked the battle for the World Jr. Flyweight Title against Champion "Awesome" Awesome, with No Fear's new dedication to the game with his more agressive counter punching style, No Fear who was behind on the scorecards by a point going into the final round dug down deep and drop his man on his way to UD victory by 1 point on all cards to win the Jr. Flyweight Title. No Fear is now a 2 division champion.
Following his Jr. Flyweight Title victory, No Fear avenged his knockout loss to knockout artist Andrei Sokolnikov with a knockout of his own in the first round. No Fear followed that up with another first round knock out over Juwan Judah. No Fear then found himself ridiculously overweight going into his title defense against top contender Rodel "Batang Manduae" Mayol, rumors are No Fear weighed as much as 118 pounds for his Jr. Flyweight (109 pounds) title defense. No Fear weight drained himself but had enough skills and savvy to clearly outbox his man and successfully defended his title with a UD victory. No Fear then vacated the title and debuted at Bantamweight (118 pounds) where he went on to win 4 straight victories at that weight before dropping down to Jr. Bantamweight (115 pounds) to challenge top pound for pound fighter and future 4 Division World Champion, the Jr. Bantamweight Champion of the World, Z Gorres.
November 25, 2007 No Fear found himself in the ring with the much younger fighter Z Gorres. No Fear was outboxed and lost the fight 8 rounds to 4. Following his title fight loss to Z Gorres, No Fear stuck around at Jr. Bantamweight (115 pounds) where he knocked out his next 2 opponents to find himself battling yet again for the Jr. Bantamweight Championship, this time against Thurman "The Mexican Assassin" Hayes. No Fear clearly outboxed his man and won the World Jr. Bantamweight Championship. No Fear is now a 3 division World Champion.
Following that title victory, No Fear went on into a 4 fight series with 3 Division World Champion Frankie "The Brit" Skipton. The trash talking Skipton belitted No Fear at every turn. Their first fight ended in a dead even draw. In their rematch, No Fear one upped the trash talking Skipton with a hotly contested Majority Decision victory. No Fear then granted Skipton another fight and found the tables turned on him as Skipton took the fight and his title with a hotly contested Majority Decision. 3 Straight fights with no real clear winner. Fight 4 changed all that as No Fear made his adjustments and won a close but clear UD victory to regain the Jr. Bantamweight Title.
Following that exciting 4 fight series to highlight his career, No Fear made one more title defense at Jr. Bantamweight which he did successfully via UD and then jumped back up to Bantamweight (118 pounds) to take one World Bantamweight Champion Kindred "Spirit" Cole. No Fear found himself on the losing end of that match up via UD loss. No Fear then stayed in contention as he took on top contender Roger Mayweather. Mayweather is known for trash talking and won the fight to back it all up as No Fear lost the fight via UD victory, but did albeit temporarily shut Roger Mayweather's mouth when No Fear dropped Roger in the final round for an 8 count.
No Fear then found himself in a rematch against Kindred "Spirit" Cole for the World Bantamweight Title. This time No Fear adjusted and boxed his ass off as he won the fight via UD victory, No Fear has now joined the elite as he becomes a 4-weight division champion.
Following his World Bantamweight Championship title victory, No Fear vacated the title in hopes to chance history, to become the first and only fighter to win World Titles in 5 different weight classes. No Fear got that chance against World Jr. Featherweight Championship (122 pounds now) "Bandito De Culo" Ernesto Bonifacio. No Fear lost that fight via disputed Majority Decision. No Fear got an immediate rematch and found himself on the losing end again with yet another disputed Majority Decision. No Fear then layed down one last challenge against Bonifacio, Bonifacio granted him one last shot and it was on. While ringside observors saw No Fear accomplish history that night with a ringside score of 115-114, the judges had other ideas as they claimed the fight to be a draw.
No Fear took on a tuneup bout after his 3 fight series with Bonifacio and then found himself in another World Jr. Featherweight Title match but this time against his old stablemate CyruS "Slanger Jr." ViruS who ended up winning the title in knockout fashion over No Fear's foe Bonifacio. What happended next was a boxing show to highlight No Fear's career as he earned a shutout UD victory to make history and win the World Jr. Featherweight Championship and mark No Fear as the only 5 Division World Champion.
After tasting glory and being alone on the mountain top of multi division world champions, No Fear suddenly found himself addicted to being the underdog and doing the impossible. He continued his thirst for more glory as he jumped up in weight yet again, this time to Featherweight (126 pounds) to take on top pound for pound fighter, the undefeated Yuriorkis "Face of Arena" Gamboa. No Fear fought a conservative match against the much younger power punching champion and lost the bout via UD. Following the loss, No Fear dropped back to Jr. Featherweight to battle Slanger Jr. yet again after Slanger Jr. won No Fear's vacated Jr. Featherweight Title. No Fear pitched another shutout to regain the title. After regaining the belt, No Fear decided to jump back up to Featherweight to tackle Gamboa again, No Fear fought with much more activity and he paid the price for opening up as he was knocked out in 9 rounds.
Following his knockout loss to Gamboa, No Fear dropped back down to Jr. Featherweight to defend his title against his old strawweight rival, 4 Division World Champ, Fernando "Cuchulito" Montiel, who if he ended up defeating No Fear would become the 2nd 5 Division World Champion. It was not to be for Montiel, as both fighters fought to a dead even draw.
Following the draw against Montiel, No Fear once again jumped to Featherweight to tackle on Gamboa, this time No Fear fought a much closer fight with Gamboa but ended up with a loss via UD via the scores of 116-113, 117-114, 116-115.
After a short period off, No Fear decided to tackle on what would persumably be his last match, as he jumped up in weight yet AGAIN to tackle on World Jr. Lightweight Champion (130 pounds) Catalina Cruz. Most thought No Fear had lost his mind after all his time fighting, but No Fear belived in himself and disbelieved the oddsmakers and betters as he took a UD victory over the champion to make ultimate history as No Fear won the World Jr. Lightweight Title to become the first and only 6 division World Champion, and he did this weighing all of 119 pounds.
