This is one of Nas' weaker tracks, the Tyson one that is. I like Nas but his latest reincarnation is relatively weak compared to past Nases.

Of course Nas today is not the Nas of the Illamtic-It Was Written era.

While very true, that Nas was an Untouchable, but todays Nas is better than 95% of todays hip hop artists without a question

Thats true. One of the last few guys releasing good hip hop.
But am I the only dissapointed that he's got a track with Chris Brown? Chris Brown is a highly overrated pop artist. Where is AZ? I honestly have a feeling this will be Nas weakest album since Nastradaumus. "Be a n*gger too" is getting alot of attention though..for being highly controversial. But I'm not expecting much from this atlbum too be honest.
Nas to me is still very good but has fallen off a bit.

15+ years in the game is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact only LL Cool J has had a better run so thats saying alot.l

Nas is the GOAT....but like I said, I'm not expecting all that much from him this next album. Altho Hip Hop Is Dead was very good.

Nas has never lived up to expectations imo.
HIs first album was obviously a classic, but then his material gradually got worse. He had the odd banging track, but apart from that...he's dissapointed me.
The other albums apart from IWW and Illmatic I brought were Gods Son which was ok....nothing brilliant, some good tracks and Street Disciple was pretty rubbish to be fair. From a double CD, there were a few ok tracks.
I'll check this album out, but I'll prepared to be dissapointed again.

Sorry guys...I can't talk in a rap thread and not mention Killah Preist.
The Offering and Behind the Stained Glass are absolutely amazing. Been listening to them NON STOP for a while now.
I know his material is very selective...and if you have no interest in religion then you probably won't enjoy it, but the dude is so different and raps knowledge in all his songs.
Very, VERY creative and a true hip-hop star. One of the GOAT to ever do it.

Oh yeah, Stillmatic could easily be a 10 with tracks like Ether, premo produced 2nd childhood, One Mic, Rule, Got Yourself a Gun....
One of my favorite Nas songs of all time has to be "Heaven" from Gods Son...

Yeah, I know. What a song.
His song 'Gun for Gun' with Nas on The Offering is pretty good too. Both do good verses.
He had a song on the prelude to The Offering Mixtape too with Nas that was brilliant. Well, I think it was on that mixtape.
