FYI ANNOUNCEMENT: FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 2008 : NO MORE SPAM POSTS OR LINKS!

To help secure a safe and positive environment for all FightHype users and staff, THERE ARE TO BE NO SPAMMING POSTS IN THE GENERAL (NON BOXING SECTION) OR IN ANY OTHER SECTIONS OF THE BOARDS THAT REPRESENT THE FIGHT HYPE COMMUNITY! I am making this announcement in this section because we are getting too many new users (1 or 2 posts) who are coming in here and posting links to Viagra, on-line scams, pharmaceuticals, and other shit. This is to end immediately! Your Email address, ISP, and user name will be BANNED from the forums for this type of conduct.

WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REPORT ANY SPAMMERS ISP's TO PROPER AUTHORITIES! SPAMMING MESSAGE BOARDS IS A VIOLATION OF LAW and disruptive to ANY forum community. In addition, we are planning additional security measures to help combat the problems of spamming and trolling. There are several no-no's in posting:

1.) DO NOT POST ANYTHING AS A NEW USER WITHOUT SOME THOUGHT OR CONTENT TO IT. IF YOU BUILD UP YOUR POST COUNT WITH NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE TO SAY, YOU ARE A TROLL OR SPAMMER AND WILL BE BANNED.

2.) DO NOT POST ANY SPAM LINKS OR URLS THAT SOLICIT SPAM OR JEOPARDIZE THE SECURITY OF THE FIGHT HYPE COMMUNITY AND ITS USERS. YOUR ACCOUNTS WILL BE BANNED FOR THIS CONDUCT. YOUR ISP MAY BE REPORTED.

3.) ALWAYS RESPECT FELLOW POSTERS AND STAFFERS FOR THE WORK THEY DO IN THE COMMUNITY. POSTS THAT ENGAGE IN NAME-CALLING, THREATENING, RACIST, SEXIST, OR DISCRIMINATING BEHAVIOR WILL BE DELETED. VIOLATORS WILL BE DISCIPLINED THIS CAN ALSO LEAD TO BANNING.

HOWEVER THE MAIN POINT OF THIS THREAD IS: ANY SPAM LINKS OR POSTS WILL BE DELETED AND USERS WILL BE BANNED WHO POSTS SUCH SPAM/SPAM URL LINKS. Please keep this community positive and spam free for everyone!
