I don't think homosexuality is an issue I've ever discussed on here. I already know that due to preconcieved notions in regard to my region on the map...I'll be called every name in the book for this stance. BUT...this is my opinion....and it is correct.
I once argued this in front of a large group with a closet gay guy until he went bat shit and told off on himself by saying "we just want you to accept us for who we are!!!!".LOL
This is simple common sense fact. You can argue all day long about should gays be allowed to raise children, is their way of sexual gradification a sin or not....all of these are social issues related to society and religious values...much of which is personal opinion.
The one thing that CANNOT IMHO be argued is the FACT that homosexuality is abnormal. If the basic principles of Darwin are applied to the situation.....with the main idea being that EVERY species...man included...strives with one goal in mind continuation of the species....the ONLY way to do that is through reproduction.
IF....you lack the normal inate desire to reproduce....as in attraction to the opposite sex.....you are in fact abnormal.
NOW.....does that make homosexuals evil and vile....no....but it does make them broken in a sense.
I myself think that if you are born with such a defect.....one of the consequences of that....is the inability to raise offspring. NOW....in this wonderful world of science that we live in today.....you can avoid all that. I personally do not think it should be allowed....not due to the idea that a gay couple does not have the capacity to raise and love a child.....BUT....due to the fact that you are basically making a major life choice for a person that has no say on how they would prefer to be raised. This is different than race, or gender......those are situations that cannot be changed. HOWEVER, being raised by a homosexual couple...with all of the potential angst and confusion that WILL come along with that......that is a situation that is chosen and can be avoided.

I do, however, think that some people "turn" gay...and this is disregarding the desire to reproduce that you mentioned....for example...girls who were molested/raped/unattractive/treated like shit by men and end up hating or not trusting them.....or certain mommas' boys who hold animosity towards women because of the overly feminine and protective way they were brought up....some of them subconsciously wanting to be like their mothers....

I probably used to agree with what u said, but I have 2 neighbors who are gay men and they adopted a 1yr old boy about 2 yrs ago...And as far as Im concerned have done a great job...So in todays fucked up world where parents r the main reasons kids turn out so fucked up, if two ppl r capable of raising a child the proper way then more power to them..
