Jones v Calzhaghe "purely for the money"
Taylor vs. Lacy "who has to retire"
Hatton vs. Malignaggi "has the potential of being the worst fight ever"
Williams vs Phillips "the bright spot in a pile of shit line up"
Pac-Man vs DLH "really, you couldn't find a midget to fight?"
Klit vs Rahman "uhh, has anyone not been paying attention to how shitty Rahman is"
These last fights are like taking a dump on a pretty good year for boxing.
Williams vs Phillips is a nice fight I'm looking forward to it.
Call it what you want but as far as numbers they've had a pretty good year. Best fights not all but some dang good ones. I dont know too many people who missed and will miss them all.

I really like the line up of guys but they aren't the best match-ups..I am looking forward to the Hatton/Malignaggi fight a lot though..I also want to see how the Lacy/Taylor fight plays out since I wanted to see that fight since they first started comin up even though they were at different weights..I wish there was some tape of them in the amateurs..

Personally, I think if they really wanted to get people excited about boxing again, they should have finished 2008 with:
November 8: Calzaghe vs. Dawson or Hopkins vs. Jones
November 15: Taylor vs. Kessler or Lacy vs. Miranda
November 22: Hatton vs. Torres or Malignaggi vs. Bradley
November 29: Williams vs. Margarito II or Phillips vs. Mayorga
December 6: De La Hoya vs. Cintron* or Pacquiao vs. Campbell
* Note: I'd say Margarito, but we all know De La Hoya would look for an easier opponent. While Cintron is very beatable, I have a funny feeling he'll probably be a tad bit more danger for De La Hoya than Pacquiao ever will.
December 13: Klitschko vs. Valuev or Rahman vs. Peter
Call me crazy, but I think any of those fights just listed will prove to be better matchups, more competitive and provide more fireworks than any of the current fights that HBO has slated.

Sounds good..I bet a Malignaggi/Bradley fight would be great..Margarito doesn't want to fight Williams..
