I think Paulie will take a close SD. I cannot expect a good fight here. Hatton will clinch and hold and Paulie doesn't have the punch to keep him off. I think Hatton's excessive holding may catch up with him sooner rather than later. I do think that Paulie at his best and with his awkwardness can take a win here. I think Hatton is on the decline.

I think Magic man is on decline...Really I think its a charity match for both fighters....

My only real interest is to see how Hatton is with Sr.......I just dont see the a defensless Hatton perfecting a shoulder roll.

Originally went with Paulie by split decision, but Ive changed to Hatton by UD or maybe late stoppage. I really didn't like what I saw in Paulie's last 2 fights!

Agreed. I don't think Floyd will have made a difference to Hatton style wise and Floyd himself has admitted he hasn't even had Ricky attempt even one shoulder roll but I do think he'll have improved Hatton's attitude to training and getting ready to fight.

I just think Ricky had got too much into a comfort zone with Billy Graham and Floyd will have re-energized him. That and although Hatton is definately on the decline I think Paulie has declined even more. Maybe time to think about that career in porn Paulie.

Correct me if I am wrong but is it not illegal for a man to fight a woman professionally? That is what this is a mans man fighting a woman.

But who's the man and who's the woman?l

One eats pies & smashes beers like they are water & the other plucks her eyebrows & tints their fringe. You be the judge.

I pick Hatton by a cruching vaginal uppercut to Pauline.

I think Hatton is going to win this fight and look impressive doing it. I think Sr. is probably going to have Ricky doing a lot of bobing and weaving to get on the inside as well as jabing his way in to close the distance. For some reason I just feel that he will look like a young Tyson stylewise anyway. I mean what else could Sr. do with Ricky skillset and talent?

P.S. You can put me on the Hate Wagon too C.E.O.
ROLL DEEP
Without sounding like I'm sitting on the fence, I wouldn't be surprised if Hatton loses.

I'm picking him to win, but there's something about Hatton that I don't know about which keeps me second guessing.

I'm hoping he'll apply sensible pressure (not like he did against Floyd), Mayweather would have got him pumping his jab more, along with better head movement to get in and maul Paul (haha...that rhymed).

But, some reason I have a feeling that Hatton will turn up and look FLAT. He'll have no spring in his step and will amble forward, eating punches.

HATTON UD PAULIE

I know this isn't the most exciting fight, but it's sure quiet in this thread....... ph34r.gif

I'm gonna go with Hatton on points although I'm not entirely convinced he has all that much left. Didn't look very good at all in his last fight and with a new training regime, new trainer and different ideas, I don't have any confidence in my pick.

I hope he busts up and batters Malignaggi though. Can't stand the bloke.
BigG
I don't like how Paulie was getting hit flush against NDou and Herman N...they kept hitting Paulie with right hands...Paulie was rocked badly versus Herman too.

I'm leaning towards Ricky by close decision in a surprisingly good fight...

Paulie is tough though, he survived a beating from Cotto despite fighting with a fractured jaw from round 2 on. He can't punch hard obviosuly but he throws flurries.

It's 55-45 leaning towards Hatton.
Nay_Sayer
Hatton comes to fight, despite all the holding. Malignaggi comes to dance and run. I'm liking Hatton by brutal stoppage...

Anybody know where I can catch a live stream of the weigh - in?

Paulie has the chin, he also doesnt have a lick of power...... there will be no stoppage in this fight......

the man who gets knocked out by paulie should never lace up a pair of gloves ever again
Lil-lightsout
The feather fisted faggot is getting a beatdown. He only has a jab, thats it. Hatton on points by wide margin or late rounds stoppage.

That's the unknown ... What was Floyd Sr. able to do with Hatton in such a short amount of time. If Hatton fights with some boxing sense, he will dog Paulie all night long. And because Paulie doesn't have any power -- he will be running and flinching throughout the fight.

Hatton = UD
streetlion1
I dont like either of these guys....Paulie is a sissy and Hatton just sucks. I am curious to see what change if any Mayweather will bring to Hattons style. Both guys looked like shit in thier last fights but Hatton looked like he was worse off.

Paulie by U.D.
Mean Mister Mustard
Props to Stevenski for his prediction on a ending by uppercut to Paulie's smooth cunt. I was about to say the same thing.

Anyway this figures to be a dirty fight, or at least I hope so. Haven't seen an inside foul filled affair in quite some time now and I blieve we are due. I like Hatton's superior strenght to win the close quaters clinch sessions with Miss Maligna making him miss some on the outside but not landing much in return.

Miss Maligna has a nice jab but that's it. His left hook has all the power of a wet napkin and his right hand is like a on old amputee hitting you with his stump. Don't want to start what MID attempted to establish but dare I say it, Malignaggi is a pigeon puncher

I'm pumped to see this fight..I think it will be a good one..How is Malignaggi a bum??I don't think so at all..Hatton lost some of his appeal during/after Tszyu..If Hatton went back to his old ways he'd be one of the most entertaining guys out there..I loved watching his fights when he was coming up and I still like watching him but hope he clinches less..It really sucks how much Hatton swells up in between fights but as long as he makes weight,whatever..I would like to see him kick the habit of drinking, but I bet that's just me..

Malignaggi had one of the best jabs around 140..He may not be a huge hitter but so what,ya can't expect every guy to hit like George Foreman..I kinda like it when guys are light hitters because then they know they need to find a way to make up for it and that is through boxing, not brawling..Malignaggi can take a hell of a punch/beating if necessary..I think if he had waited for the Cotto fight instead of taking it then he would of been able to put up a better fight..I would of wanted him to take like 3 more fights before getting in with Cotto..I'm not saying Malignaggi would of beaten him, cause I don't think he would have but he would of been more ready for that type of fight..
mexi-cutioner
I hate to say it(kinda) but Paulie by UD (116-112,116-112,117-111) over Hatton. The excess weight gain and weight loss inbetween bouts will finally take a toll on Hatton's overworn body and he won't have an ounce of stamina left after the first half of the bout. It will be competitive the first couple of rounds, then slowly but surely, Hatton will throw less and less punches and more and more he'll clinch and Paulie will eventually take full control of the fight by rd8
Mean Mister Mustard
Hatton looks drained to me.

Malignaggi looks in hsape too. I think since the Cotto fight he's had a different regime because after that fight he has looked ripped.

hardhead
I think Hatton has been on the decline for quite a while, all of the blowing up in weight in between fights and him getting older is taking its toll. Malinaggi himself has looked like shit in his last two fights and I saw the same thing as BigG in that Paulie was getting countered/hit like crazy by Ndou and Ngjodo so that would concern me. I think it'll be a close fight and I don't see Hatton stopping Malinaggi because Hatton's power is overrated and Malinaggi has a pretty solid chin. My prediction is Malinaggi by SD. I think Malinaggi might have more left in the tank and enough speed and athleticism to box and counter enough to win close, ugly decision. Part of my reasoning I guess is I'm more expecting Hatton to continue to decline while Malinaggi will up his performance this time out. This definitely has the potential to be a real stinker but for some odd reason I'm curious to see how these two styles will matchup.
Imperius3
I have a feeling this fight will resemble the Collazo fight. It will be close and people will make an argument for both fighters. Collazo is bigger than Malignaggi though, and I had Hatton winning that fight by a point. Malignaggi has a great jab, but I think Hatton will outwork him in a close fight. Hatton will be bulling forward, and I don't think Malignaggi can hurt Hatton. Judging by Malignaggi's fights with Ngoudjo and N'dou, Hatton has a good chance. Mayweather Sr. won't make much of a difference in this fight, and I don't think Hatton's weight issues have worn him down too much yet.

Hatton by a close decision.

Paulie D12... I'm picking the upset. Paulie will land first all nite and completely box Hatton's ears off.

I predict Paulie wil have a good opener, but then HAtton's strength and new-found skills will take over. I reckon by the 11th, trigger happy McGirt will throw in the towel.

Oh, wait, am I too late for a prediction?
