I also agree that Tito isn't as bad as some people make him out to be. I'm not saying he is a prime fighter or close, but I don't think he looked all that bad either against Roy. I think all it was is that he didn't belong at 170, and he was just too small for Roy, and even with the power he had and the chin Jones has, didn't seem as great at 170 hitting. But I thought he put punches together well, he didn't seem too slow. To me he still looked ok, he was just pretty soft around the belly which is due to not training, and maybe just making up the pounds to make 170. But if he really, really applied himself and could even make 160 again, I think he can still be about a B- fighter. He doesn't seem Jones shot or anything the last couple of times I saw him. The fight with Winky also had nothing with him being shot, Winky was just wrong for him and Tito just doesn't have a plan B, but physically I don't think he is that, that bad.

That said, I am not saying this as a good reason to why a fight between him and Hopkins should happen again, as Hopkins will fucking murder him. If Tito wants to fight, I prefer to see him fight some guys like Miranda, Duddy or something. I don't see the point in him coming back every couple of years to fight world class guys or guys well out of his class (size wise). What does he expect? To win?
I'm just sick of fights like this happening purely on money, plus Tito has been annoying and has wasted many years because he couldn't handle a loss. He could have strung together a few significant wins if he fought on a constant basis, expect he retires every time he loses.

Real smart. I respect Diaz for that a lot. The only thing about that is you fight for 15 years or so, retire in your late 30's and come out with no job experience. That degree don't mean shit cause you still have to start at ground zero as far as pay with most jobs anyway. I hope that business degree taught him how to manage money.
yeah, but with his little bit of fame he'll be able to get a pretty cush job with a degree. Business degrees are all about who you know, and I'm sure he knows some important business people. at least in texas, you only start at the bottom if you don't know anyone.
