It doesn't completely suck...we use it to send out updates from the website:

It's a good way of staying updated with what's being posted on the site. Now, I personally wouldn't use it to update people on stupid stuff I'm doing throughout the day, but it does have some good uses.

You're right, for site updates and business updates, it is useful. Personally, I'm not for updating people on when I do mundane things throughout the day which is what a good amount of people do.

What is Facebook? is that like a online site where you can post photos?
Why use twitter when you can update your facebook status every 10 seconds. I personally dont want people knowing what I'm doing or thinking every minute of the day. I'll update my facebook status every once in a while or put some funny one liners on there but its not that serious to me. I dont even bother with twitter. I always thought of it as something HS'er would do or websites for updates.
