Full Version: Oscar DLH a "juicer" too? WHOA!! NSAC

Upon hearing Oscar's comments regarding Margarito's return where he said, "he should be banned for life" (he later said, "if he opens up about it, he doesn't think that ban should be imposed") Bob Arum took it a step further and request Oscar to allow the NSAC to basically indemnify those involved and "release all his previous test".

Apparently Arum is alleging that Oscar in fact FAILED a test and the NSAC covered it up. I would take this as tongue and cheek but now Thomas Hauser is generally stating the same thing here.

Man, who would have thought the WWE had the patent on storylines, lol??

This is definitely pretty juicy here.

I have some takes on this.

First off if there is ANY truth to this then the NSAC has a ton of explaining to do.

One prevailing theory in my mind is that Oscar was a gold mine to Vegas and him being embarrassed would have cost casinos, hotels, other hospitality spots millions.

However, while we know most promoters have zero to no scruples anyways, this would solidify it concerning Arum being a part of this. Don't get me wrong, there are countless examples IMO that says that towards Arum already.

Lastly, perhaps thats why Oscar if this is true didn't raise too much a stink about Mosley.

Wow this Top Rank/GBP war is getting ugly. I think its getting into Tupac/Biggie territory where the ending may be just as tragic...

LAS Vegas in January of 2012 Bob Arum rides down the strip with Pacquiao in the car, shortly after Mike Tysons comeback victory over Bernard Hopkins. A mysterious white convertable pulls up next to them and the driver fires 6 shots into the passenger side of Arum's black BMW. Pacquiao gets hit 5 times in the chest. Arum is grazed. Pacquiao is immediately brought to the local hospital, where the HGH, EPO and other PED's help him to make a speedy recovery that night...

Las Angeles 6months later Mayweather and DLH are at the Espy awards as presenters. After the award show they both attend an ESPY afterparty where they mix and mingle with the who's who of the sports world. After the party their entourage loads up together in 2 Chevy Suburbans. Mayweather sits in the front one, a green 2010 Chevy Suburban. While stopped at a redlight a mysterious black Chevy Impala pulls up next to Mayweather's Chevy. The driver of the impala fires 6 shots into the passebger side where Mayweather is sitting. Mayweather ducks and dodges every single shot all while screaming at the shooter to take a blood test before reloading. Mayweather survives the ordeal untouched and vows he will return to the ring soon, once Calderon's test results come back...

Sorry, just being stupid today...

What I find even MORE interesting is that people are shocked to learn about corruption inside of boxing.

I keep trying to tell some of you guys that you just don't even know HALF of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes.

Of course, here's my whole beef about Hauser's piece...he says that Floyd made up these allegations about Pacquiao without any proof and, therefore, he's just bringing it up to embarras Pacquiao and find a way out of the fight. Then, Hauser goes on to hint that even the Golden Boy himself allegedly failed a test that was covered up. Well...if that's the case...doesn't that just give Floyd even more reason to request more stringent testing? I mean, if Hauser is aware that guys like Oscar De La Hoya, Roy Jones Jr., James Toney, Shane Mosley, Fernando Vargas and Jameel McCline have abused in one way, shape or form in the past, then surely Mayweather is probably aware of some dirty laundry within the sport as well...and given that knowledge, combind with Manny's impressive performances as of late, I certainly don't see why Floyd would NOT be suspicious. In fact, seeing as how both Hauser and Bob Arum are alluding to an alleged cover up by the NSAC regarding Oscar De La Hoya, it seems to me like A LOT of people inside the industry are aware of the dirt that goes on.

Damn man now I know what baseball fans feel like sad.gif

I've always felt that boxing>>boxers but media wise this would be a very bad look for the sport if fishnets was on some shit.

I wouldnt matter what name was attached to ped allegations, I wouldnt put it past anyone to use them or cover it up because millions of dollars are involved.

It seems to me that a combat sport would be the best reason to use them. Not only would will you earn much more dough if you keep winning but you also would be much less likely to get your ass beat. Nobody enjoys getting their ass beat. Couple in shitty testing methods and you have...

THE ABSOLUTE BEST CASE SCENARIO FOR PEOPLE TO USE PEDS.

LMFAO!!

This type of shit never surprises me. Everyone in the sport knows the dirt that goes on behind the scenens. Us as the fans may be dumbfounded, but when you brush shoulders with all these fighters on a regular basis 9 times out of 10 you know who doing what. They need to clean up the sport, its unfair to the few fighters (if any) that is 100% clean.

Its funny how a lot of these fighters start with Arum or have dealt with Arum early in their careers. I wouldn't be surprised if he had ties with the Mob as well.
