This is a picture of Corfe Castle in Dorset from 1643. It was originally built in the 11th century.



Splendid battlements!

The castle was besieged by Cromwell and his treacherous forces.

I went there with my wife Candice-Marie many, many years ago and we both thought it was marvellous.

I always gain a little bit of knowlege everytime KP posts.

KP is by far the most random poster in the history of this site.
