Many boxing fans think Khan can knock Mallinaggi out in their coming fight...can he do it,,?...
caneman
I don't think so & it would surprise me very much if he did! One good thing is that Khan doesn't have to worry about Paulie's punch though!
Michigan Assassin
Of course he can knock him out but I don't think he will.

I don't expect to see the Paulie that was standing and trading with Diaz that we've seen recently.

He knows Amir has much faster hands than Diaz and will more than likely try to stick and counter. Not making himself as open to Amir's power punches.

On a side note, I'm not very excite for Paulie being Khan's coming out party here in the USA. I would've much preferred someone like Maidana who may get his head knocked off but will be in Amir's chest swinging away until he does.

I hope Paul boxes rings around Khan & makes him look like the Eurobum he is.
ezdoseit
I doubt it, cotto is an more devistating puncher then khan then and he cound not ko paulie. I dont like khan so maybe im hating lol. paulie by boxing clinic.....you heard me.......lol
Mean Mister Mustard
Malignaggi is tough. The Hatton fight should not have been stopped since he was not taking a beating. Then again I haven't watched that fight again so I could be wrong. Point is Malignaggi has a good chin and heart so Khan would have to really catch him with some counterpunches that he doesn't see coming in order to put him away.

I expect this fight to look a bit like Kessler-Mundine; Khan is able to box behind a good jab, don't waste too many punches, outbox the boxer with Malignaggi trying win but not being able to implement a plan B.

British bum.

Don't lump all European countries together.

Anyway, I wouldn't call Khan a 'bum'. I don't think he's a super star, but I think he's a decent fighter.

Seems to be the trend at the minute.

Can Khan knock out Malignaggi? Paulie is tougher than he looks, he's proven that against some top quality opponents. Khan is the quicker of the two but Malignaggi is smarter.

Even against the light punching Malignaggi I still don't trust Khans chin. I think this fight will be better than people expect but I see Khan winning, probably on points, but he might land enough to force the stoppage late on.

LOL... hahahaha..." One good thing is that Khan doesn't have to worry about Paulie's punch though!".....hahaha... well, he is not known to knock his opponent alright,... but he can knock people out with his mouth,...doesn't he?...he's got one of the fastest mouth among the boxers today...

What boxing fans??Dumb ones??hahaha..Malignaggi isn't getting KO'd..He has more guts than most boxers when it comes to taking punishment..Watch his fight with Cotto and that should tell ya he's not getting KO'd..He had a softball sized lump where his cheek used to be and in the interview he said he was fan even though his face was showing pain..I have a lot of respect for Paulie..I don't care if ya like him or not but he's a tough guy..The Hatton fight also showed how tough he is..

Yeah,Paulie may not hit hard but he has really fragile hands..Micky Ward hit a lot hard than him but also has serious problems with his hands that enabled him to hit as hard as he could of before cops busted up his hands and left him with permanent damage..Floyd is another guy with fragile hands..All 3 these guys love boxing enough to deal with those problems and keep fighting..Floyd may do it for the money though..That's another topic though..
AussieLad
Can he knock him out, probably not, but i certainly hope so

I think Paulie has a shot at winning. Amir isnt the 2nd coming of Hamed, and his chin is very shaky

But, now way can Paulie even hurt him. Khan got blitzed early by very big punches when he got KTFO, Malignaggi ain't going to do it.
JLUVBABY
the more i think about this fight im thinking mallinaggi is gonna whip khan... just a gut feeling...
King Eugene
I think Paulie is going to give him a good jab jab and get the hell out of the way lesson. He wont sit there and let Khan T off on him and he wont be willing to trade like he did against Diaz. Buddy is a lot tougher than some give him credit for. Its going the distance with a controversial decision.
JonnyBlaze
I also pick Malignaggi to win this fight..

Paulie got this....He boxed great in his last fight agaisnt Diaz. He didn't sit there and trade punches, and finally used those legs. That's what he did best as a prospect coming up and in the first fight against N'Dou. When he uses those legs and jabs, he's a tough fighter to beat. He even had mild success against Cotto in the middle rounds of their fight. He's been one of my favorites since around 04 when he called out Bojado. Dude is willing to face anybody, and Khan won't be that intimidating to him. The lenght and elusiveness of Malignaggi will give Khan fits. I'm still not overly impressed with Khan either. Salita wasn't going to be competitve in any title fight, and Barrera was way past his best when Khan faced him. He's a decent boxer, but Malignaggi is better. He's faced and beaten the better competition. People will always underestimate the magic man, but he'll prove the haters wrong once again.

yep... got to ride with paulie on this one...
streetlion1
I think Paulie is gonna win too. This will be his coming out party...look for him dominate this one....thats my feeling.
Lil-lightsout
I got Khan in this fight.
PR316
Paulie doesn't really have much of a chance I think.

Khan is younger, faster, stronger, and hungrier. And its not like Paulie hits hard enough to get respect.

I think Paulie is going to get the worst defeat of his career here.

I dislike both guys honestly because for not having done much, they both love to talk about how great they are. So my opinion is neutral here for sure.
iron_mike
I haven't watched many Khan fights, but is the consensus that he's glass jawed just bc of the Prescott KO?

Nope...he's been wobbled by lesser jobbers than Prescott....he's got a Lite Chin.

but hey...he's been fed the same stuff Pacquiao takes, and the latter's chin got noticeably stronger....moving up in class even....so you never know!...lol

I really don't give a shit about this fight...but since I'm in a predicting mood, I see The British Bambi outboxing the older Never Was to a clear UD....a KO IS possible due to the Ariza connection I mentioned above...
grapevine241
a TKO by khan is possible but i see this as a distance fight. how embarrassing is it for khan if malignaggi somehow knocks him out though?
JD
Khan is going to slap Paulie around badly.
RyanTical
No, I don't think Khan can KO Paulie. I got Paulie in this fight by split-decision, but if history is an indicator of how the future will play out then a close fight would mean that Khan wins and Paulie will, once again, go on a tirade about how the judges are crooked. I agree with Paulie, they are crooked, but I see Paulie taking the harder shots, controlling the pace of the fight and making Khan work for 12 rounds, enough to win 115-112 on two scorecards.

I think that's a bold prediction Ryan. I like Khan to stop Paulie in this fight.
JD
I like Paulie...I think he is a good fighter, but I think Khan over Malignaggi is an incredibly safe pick.
streetlion1
I think Paulie will win the fight....I think if Cotto couldnt stop Paulie either can Khan who is IMO a lesser fighter than Cotto at that point in time. Everyone is saying this will be Khans coming out party...but I think it will be Paulies.

Malignaggi winner by U.D.
Maxy
I think Khan can stop Paulie but in all honesty I'm more inclined to go for a clear unanimous decision.

First things first though....is America ever going to let him into their country?

I don't know if anything has come of his sordid desires or not....Kinda puts into question his supposed devout muslim crap though don't it? Or is that sorta shit permitted?

laugh.gif

As for not being allowed into America....you can't be too careful these days can you? Who knows, maybe Khan is a terrorist and his boxing career is just a cover?

Better safe than sorry eh?

Paulie wins a unanimous decision over Diet Hamed and sends him back across the Atlantic like the useless garbage that he is.

I will, however, take Khan in a rematch with Prescott considering Breidis has done precisely dick since their first matchup.

Maybe Diet Hamed could have a matchup with Zab Judah and see who does the chicken dance first.
JD
I am amazed by the amount of people picking Paulie here.

He is without a single advantage over Khan with the exception of chin, and he doesn't punch hard enough to exploit that. To me, this fight has utter lock written all over it.
D-MARV
Yes! Khan can KO Malignaggi... He has Ariza and Roach in his corner.

I wouldn't mind seeing Khan lose. I can't stand him. He's accomplished absolutely NOTHING and he talks all that shit like he's gonna be up there with the likes of Pacquiao and Mayweather soon.

Paulie's only chance is to stick and move. Basically stink out the place. He doesn't have the power to get Khan's respect.

But I think Malignaggi is past his prime. He gets hit ALOT MORE today than he did pre-Cotto. And he was soundly beaten by Ricky Hatton whom is nobody to really write home about.

I think Khan stops him but if Malignaggi won, I wouldn't mind at all. I would like to hear Khan's explanation on how he'll be up there in the big fights with Mayweather and Pacquiao a year from now.

Give me a break.
KookedKrack
Khan wins but I do not think he ko's Paulie ......Paulie may be feather fisted but dude showed he was tough in that Cotto fight he took a fucking beating and kept coming.
SmartyBeardo
Malignancy squeaks it out.
Mean Mister Mustard
I think Khan has a good chance of taking Malignaggi out with a shot he doesn't see coming. However, Mallignaggi is tough and if he can stick and move he might make it a close contest. If Khan is that good he should be able to outbox him, I mean Ngoudjo was and he's not as talented as Khan.
