A competition where you will pit your fight prognosticating skills against fellow FIGHTHYPE members.

The deadline for the April contest is Saturday April 3, 2010 at 11AM (PST). This thread will be automatically locked at the deadline so get your picks in on time.
The following post will include the fights for the month and player rankings will be posted after the first few fights have been completed.

Rules:
Post your picks for the fights listed before the deadline and earn points to be placed in the rankings.
The rankings will be updated periodically during the month.
The player with the highest total at the end of the month wins a FIGHTHYPE T-shirt!

Points System:

20 pts: Winner

25 pts: Winner by DEC
30 pts: Winner by UD
40 pts: Winner by MD
40 pts: Winner by SD

25 pts: Winner by KO/TKO
50 pts: Winner by +1 or -1 correct round KO/TKO
75 pts: Winner by correct round KO/TKO

150 pts: Correct DRAW pick
175 pts: Winner by DQ
175 pts: Correct NC pick

Game Notes:
To earn the maximum points possible your pick should include the fighter's name
followed by one of the scoring indicators listed, i.e. Judah KO1 or Judah UD, etc.

If you pick a UD, SD or MD and the final verdict is a different form of decision than your pick, you win DEC points.

Please post your picks in the order they are listed and if we have two or more fighters with the same last names
be sure to include their first initial with your pick or some other form of identifier, nickname, etc.

Eugene needs to avoid any prediction leagues. It's not fair to the rest of us that pick before him...his jinx completely changes the dynamics of each fight.

Maybe we could make two different divisions...one that picks before Eugene, and another that picks after?

I will be posting at the very last minute. I have to analyze everybody else's picks and see who I want to lose.

You know what would be awesome, and I am being serious.

Have Eugene make his predictions on the actual site with some of the other predictions some of the writers do (I don't read them very often, but I have seen them before so not sure if it's something they always do). But he is one of the frequent predictors on the main page and label him as "The kiss of death".

Just realized I came in dead last in the month of March. SMH...

Its one of those picks I most likely will regret after the fight Saturday, cause it is one of those fights I picked with my heart and not head. I refuse to be deterred by the Green loss, it was a fluke, just my opinion. I do favor Hops in this, but I am taking a chance that with Roy's speed he can nullify some of Hopkins strengths. I can not get over Hopkins age too, he is due to get old one of these days...right? I know it is not a smart pick, but screw it, not like I am going to win this shit anyway. I was going to cheat, but decided against it. I was going to copy Fritz's picks exactly how he chose, then when we won and it was a tie... I would get the shirt cause he won last month.

I'm hoping Hopkins gets old in this fight but damnit my luck isn't that good. If you want a sure fire winner let me make your picks for you.
