Hopkins SHOULD win, but man, it's been such a crazy fuckin' year in boxing so far, Jones by UD doesn't sound like a bad bet at all. In my opinion, the pressure's on Hopkins to not only win, but to win by knockout...I know he's "cerebral" and all that, but Roy still has fast hands and if the OLD Snaggletooth doesn't show up to this fight...not this new cat that's been playing around with his prey, but the OLD Executioner...man, Hop's might be flirtin with danger and could easily lose by UD. Even though Jones has dropped pretty hard from the top & witnessed him get stopped in December he is still one of my all time favourites. As sad as it is to watch & admit it really is what it is…the man is DONE and has been for a while now. Jones doesn’t need to prove nor has anything left to do anything inside the ring anymore. Roy Jones Jr. is a living legend which can’t be ever be taken away from him which is more than enough to leave the game satisfied.

If Roy was to some how, miraculously pull a win out of his ass against Hopkins, I do believe it should not be up for debate who is in fact greater of the two boxers.

I've followed Roy since the Seoul robbery. At his best he was a phenomenon. Unbelievable ability and athleticism. I wanted him to retire after Ruiz but he carried on and has never been the same fighter since going back down in weight. His star has definitely dwindled over the years but nobody can take away his magic when he was at his brilliant best. Prime for prime he beats Hopkins 10 out of 10. This fight gives Hopkins the chance for some personal redemption and he will most likely accomplish that. The long and the short though, it's meaningless as far as legacies go.

For some reason I'm thinking of that 24/7 that showed Roy "training" with a younger fighter and it was him basically just dancing back and forth across the ring. I hope after it was finished he told the other guy, "Don't ever do that."

I want to get on the bus but I'll be at the stop, contemplating on if I should jump on or not. I won't get on and I'll watch the bus ride off into the sunset wishing I would've hopped aboard.


Maxy will be in the back seat waving me to chase after it to get on whilst Stylez and Eugene are in the front, half drunk and crying as they cast back their memories and recall the greatest moments of Roy Jones' career.

I threw some footage of Demetrius in there as he was in camp, and the kid in the middle of the vid was Mike "Sharp" Dargin, another fighter in Team Hopkins' stable for the past several years, and who reportedly is giving Mosley some nice work in sparring.
