They voted 4 -1 to table the decision until California decided. This is not a denial, just a vote to take no action.

Interestingly, the chairperson was the one pushing to vote to reinstate.

SMH! Unbelievable.

The hearing should have lasted all of 20 seconds.

Margarito walks in, one of the commission members stands up with a bullhorn and shouts, "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!".

Meeting over.

Loading your gloves with a hard material in an already dangerous sport...deserves NO second chance. Shows what lack of respect he has for a human life and the sport. Go fuck yourself Margarito you piece of shit!

Fuck Margarito. No second chances 4 that dude. He could've killed Cotto or Shane if had not been found out. He should have gotten a jail sentence.

I agree with what has been said,

Also believe that if he would have actually used the weapons against Mosley, that the punishment would have been more severe. But the intent to harm is just a step or two away from actual harming with the physical evidence present. Even though Margarito was suspended for a year, he needs to be banned for life from the sport because if he is not, other boxers and trainers might engage in this same content. Many fighters can often take a year or more off between fights so a year suspension is a slap on the wrist.

I'd like to know what was the mood in Mexico when he had that tune up fight? Did they cheer, as if they did not care what he and the trainer tried to do in the USA? Did they boo? Was the atmosphere apathetic?

Bad advice... He should have gone to Cali way back when his time was served. All this ducking of the Cali commission, gives the impression of guilt.
