Mexican boxing superstar Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez is eyeing a third fight against arch-rival Filipino boxing superstar Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao after he successfully demolished Mexican boxing star Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz in their recent fight.
Marquez won via a unanimous decision over Diaz who fought a gallant but losing fight against the former who was able to retain his WBA and WBO lightweight titles.
In their exciting boxing match Marquez used his vaunted punching power to frustrate and eventually beat the very determined Diaz.
The victory is the second time for Marquez who earlier beat Diaz via a ninth-round stoppage during their first meeting in February 2009.
With his win, Marquez was able to show the world that he still a force to reckon with in professional boxing after he was earlier knocked-out by American boxing superstar Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather in their earlier boxing match-up.
With his latest victory, Marquez (51-5-1, 37 KOs), who turns 37 next month, called on Pacquiao to step on the plate and fight him again for the third time.
It can be recalled that the first two meetings of the two boxing superstars were a thriller for the global boxing fans.
Marquez and Pacquiao had an exciting draw in their first meeting wherein Pacquiao knocked down the Mexican three times.
In their second meeting Pacquiao came up victorious in split decision ruling by the boxing judges.

Marquez was not knocked out by Mayweather and he will probably never get another shot at Manny.

It will never happen. First off, Golden Boy and Top Rank just don't seem to be on the best of terms right now. I think Marquez is promoted by GBP and Pacquiao is promoted by Top Rank. Golden Boy has big plans for Amir Khan I feel. They want to make him into the next star, and they know Marquez is almost at the end of the line. The Diaz rematch was a great fight to make Marquez look good in. Manny Steward can blab on about how much Diaz lost to "great" opponents, but they are nowhere near the level Steward is making them out to be. Nate Campbell and Paulie Malignaggi will never be considered boxing's elite, and Diaz lost three times to them. Sure Diaz got beat by a HOF in Marquez, but don't get that confused with those other three fights where Diaz really struggled. To me, GBP is being brilliant in trying to match Marquez and Khan up. People are talking about Marquez again, and if Khan beats him up, then he looks even better on paper. GBP wants Amir Khan to be a star, and that's who will fight Marquez next. That's not to say that Marquez couldn't pull it off. We just saw Pirog knock off another potential GBP star.

If Marquez do luck up and get that fight he'll regret asking for it.
